Happy Friday! The sun will be shining here soon and it is going to warm up to 70* at the shore. I have no idea of what to wear today since it is in the 40's right now. Lots of layers I guess. But I got my beach chair and the blanket to make it comfier, my bag, my book, and some sunscreen.
Gary and I shocked our LLMD at our appointment. I don't think she has ever had both of us having a decent report at the same time. Gary's nausea has been better overall too and she was floored by that. Never in the entire time that she has been treating him, has he reported his stomach was Ok some days. She was really shocked. He is taking pharmaceutical grade stevia drops and she wants him to continue with that. She was at a conference and spoke with the doctor/researcher of the study that showed stevia kills Lyme bacteria in all of its 3 forms. In vitro, but it showed promise for people.
I told her that I was feeling stable and my hand strength was the highest it has been in a long time. My Rheumatoid factor is still very high but is 10 points less than it had been.
Yay!!! :bliss:
The bummer part of my day (cuz you know I always have one! ound: ) was the letter I got from the hospital where I got my MRI done last week. I had already seen the results online and was hoping to ignore it until I see my breast surgeon next month. but dammit, the letter came and I guess seeing it written out in my hands made it un-ignorable. It is really nothing to be worried about, but my scan showed 2 small "spots" in my left breast (my cancer was in the Right) and the report read "Probably Benign" and a rec'd a follow-up MRI in 6 months. It is most likely nothing but when you see that, it bites. And here I was, all hopeful that I could start winding down the every six-month exams and tests. *grumbles*
I told Gary and Cait overheard and now I will have to tell Scott too. I promised them that if I ever had something to share, that I wouldn't keep it from them.
But you know what I am going to do? I am going to put it into a little box in my brain and continue to ignore it until I speak to the Dr as I had planned. I am not going to let it worry me. So there! :whip:
I hope that all of you have a wonderful day!
xoxo
