TGIF!

How are all of you today? Rainy, rainy, rainy here on the East Coast although it looks like we are dodging a bullet with Joaquin. (Perhaps, I shouldn't use that metaphor in light of what happened on the West Coast yesterday  )
Looks like the Hurricane is going to stay out at sea, so we will get rain, some wind, but that should be about it. Whew! Of course, Gary and I single-handedly did that, but making sure that the generator would start and the gas cans are full. :D

So I got through work ok! I felt *good* to do something constructive. Like I had a purpose in something other than wasting time online. And to get a couple of bucks too- well, that was perfect! We decorated the inside of the house for Halloween too. Outside will wait until next week when we are a bit dried out.

I am hurting a bit today. My back/hip still.Ugh. It woke me up a few times last night and then I ended up having to take some Rx ibuprofen. The damp sure does not help that at all. I have to say, my fingers are crossed that Puppy school gets cancelled for tomorrow. It will if it is raining, and I have not worked with Jaida much at all. The Mourning Tea is in the afternoon so I don't want to be tired and hurting for that.

Low key day for me today, I am going to post a few of the Challenge LO's, and make some of the food that I am bringing to the Tea.

Hope that allof you have an amazing day!

Nancy- in my next life, I am marrying a mechanic. :D Old car, for sure! *eye roll*
BTW- how are your grand-puppies doing? Settling down? Your pages are gorgeous, they look like they should be in a travel coffee table book.

Sharron- yes,I am very lucky that my clients are willing to wait it out for me. I hope to get back to all of them in time.
Good luck with the new swim schedule! Wow! your triptych is fab!!!!!! I am going to head over to your gallery to see a bigger shot of it.

Trudy- hope your lap counter gets to your soon!
We thought wheel alignment too, but when we drive the car on flat roads, it doesn't pull at all. :noidea:
I am so very lucky to have my parents help so much. My mom is sending Scott home
with food to
That is great news about the funding for Mason's play school. Did he have a great time again? FWIW and IME- sometimes kids have a really great first day and then back slide a tiny bit the next. It is like "Wow, what a novelty to do this. Once. Oh, you mean I have to go back and do it again??" So if he had a harder time yesterday, that phase will pass.

hugs and love to all!

Good morning - what yucky weather! But it is nice that Joaquin in heading out to sea! I have at least one good thing today - I have a NJ Devils preseason game yea! But to get to the game I have to go through the day. Yesterday my son and I go to get his girlfriend's car and as we leave my mechanic say the engine light on is not a problem. Then when my younger son comes home he says the mechanic says he will look at it over the weekend. Really so now my this weekend younger son is going to Washington with my car and my DH and I will have no car. What is the matter with me? And then as my son is getting ready to leave for work he brings down two loads of wash and then sends me an email with forms he needs printed out by this evening. It is scary how much he feels should be done for him. It is scarier how I let this happen. On the positive side I did get in a good walk yesterday. So much easier to walk when it is cool. Came home and did an update on my Apple watch. After that my sister and I could not longer do taps and sketches to each other. She updated her watch and still no taps. She could send them to me but I could not send to her. I got on line with Apple chat and I went through 4 tech service people before it worked. I don't think they did anything I think it was just that both of the phones and watches after being updated had to reset. She is in AZ and me in NJ so it just took a while! I was online for 78 min but all is working perfectly and they were really nice. So now I will get back to scrapping.

Chris glad the cleaning went well and you are not too sore. I bet your house inside looks incredible! Have fun at the Tea!

Sharron that is a great to change your swim schedule! Anything to make our lives easier and happier. Your new triptych is awesome! thanks for showing how it looks in your bathroom! Very impressed!

Trudy what good news that there is funding for Mason to attend preschool! It is hard but it is so good for them to play with other kids.

Have a great day all!

Mornin' all. Christ so glad to hear that work went well. Glad Joaquin won't be a direct hit. Sliding between TV shows last night, I heard a guy on the national news (which we NEVER WATCH) pronounce it Joe-uh-quin. I thought of Ted Baxter...the news guy on the old Mary Tyler Moore show. What a hoot he was.

Oh Nancy Nancy Nancy. What are we going to do with you? I hope you left that pile of laundry sitting right where DS dropped it!!!!!!!!!! Glad you got your watch fixed at last. I don't know what tapping and sketching are, but you can believe I'm going to dazzle my DS by dropping those words next time I see him. LOL

Thanks for all the kind words about my wall art. I love going into that bathroom now! LOL

Swimming was SO much better today. Knowing I won't be going in until Tuesday next week made all the difference. Life Guard told me next week will be my last morning sessions at this pool, and that morning sessions may not be starting up right away at the other pool either. Don't know what I'll do then. One day at a time.

Foggy/drizzly here right now. A few errands to run today. Bible study tonight. Babysitting Clara and Beckett tomorrow morning.

Scrap on!

Morning gals... It is misty and we are hoping for some rain today. A quiet day here for me today hopefully. I did some running of errands yesterday afternoon and got lots of phone calls from relatives just wanting to catch up. Weird how they all called on the same day! Most days my phone never rings at all. (except for the pesky telemarketers)

Chris - Mason had a good time at his play school again, but DD said he was very hungry when he got home. They are supposed to supply lunch and snacks, but he is very picky so perhaps they just did not have what he wanted :hungry:. Glad that your going back to work gave you the feeling of having some purpose in your life!! I sure hope that you will be able to get back to all of your clients soon! You mom is so great for sending food! Wish she lived next to me :becky:

Nancy - Well you know that we are all going to give you a hard time now don't you!! Leave that pile of dirty clothes right where it is, unless he pays big rent $$ to you, you are not his maid!! Enjoy your pre season game today and glad to hear that you and sister can tap and sketch again (whatever that is??) :noidea: LOL you will have to educate us all!!

Sharron - Sounds like you are having the same weather where you are. Thats funny about your weather announcer, I used to love watching that show! Will you be able to swim in the afternoon at your pool? Or do you prefer to go early in the morning? So nice that you are happy with your new art work in your bathroom, it really was a great idea! Have fun babysitting tomorrow morning, you are so lucky to be able to do that!!

Well I need to off my butt and get dressed and have some breakfast, then lots to do around the "O" this morning. Hope everyone has a super Friday and you all do something today that makes you happy!!

well hi there everyone we had a lovely holiday the weather was amazing really summer like, will try to get some project life layouts done to show you what we did. The cottage was lovely, a bit remote but fine as we had a car, my friend has another cottage in one of the towns so may see if we can have that one next time so we can walk down to the town and to swimming etc.

Robbie seemed to enjoy it, especially the train ride and shopping in a big town. He was also taken with Hexham Abbey and loved looking around it.
Got to go get the washing hung out still nice weather here, but we usually follow your weather patterns in the USA so maybe back to rain next week!

Hope everyone is doing well will read throught the days I have missed and do more chat tomorrow

Sunny but windy today and nothing scheduled until a lecture this evening at the natural history museum. I'm so pleased to have finished the "drawing" I started in May and thus done the final page for our trip then to Oklahoma. Tomorrow will be a genealogy day at the historical society.

Chris, sounds like a busy day yesterday getting to work and decorate inside the house and all. Hope today is good and not too wet.

Nancy, I have to add to the noise we're making about your doing too much for DS. But glad you've got a Devil's game and could get in a walk. I'm another with no clue about the watch terms.

Sharron, you know how much I admire your triptych. I looked a little at frames available and may be getting something. Hope your pool situation is going to work for you. Morning seems such an important time for swimming.

Trudy, how curious to get many calls the same day. Hope you have a good day around the O.

Claire, how nice you had summery weather for your holiday. Look forward to pages from it.

Hope it's a good one for all.
