I have just a quick minute to post this before I head out to the mall to go Black Friday Shopping!
:behindsofa:
JK!!! I have never been out shopping on Black Friday, haven't been to a mall in over a year and definitely would never do that in the midst of a pandemic. But I am betting that you all knew I was busting on ya.
Did everyone have a nice day?
We ate so much food and laughed our butts off. I give so much credit to everyone who has thanksgiving dinner every year. Even with only having to reheat the sides along with my few things I was cooking, trying to time everything to be hot at the same time wasn't easy. Gary's mom's stuffing wasn't hot enough and the mashed potatoes were done so I had to ask him if he wanted hot stuffing and cold potatoes or the other way around. But it worked out perfectly. I dumped the potatoes back on the stove with the heat on low and everything came out perfectly.
Caitlyn printed out some Thanksgiving Madlibs and then we played a killer game of Pictionary afterward. (Gary and I kicked their butts again!)
I cleaned up as much as I could as I cooked so there isn't too much that needs to be done in the kitchen other than wash the wine glasses and put away the dishes. But first I am having apple pie for b-fast. I can't wait!
Hoping that everyone had a nice, relaxing day yesterday and has plenty of leftovers so you don't have to cook today.
