CHEERY O
Ahh, its so nice and quiet in my house. Caitlyn is out shopping with her girlfriends already and the "boys" are fast asleep. I am deciding whether I want to do a pajama day and just stay in bed and off my feet as much as possible, ot if I should try to get the house cleaned since we are going to have company the next two days. At some point we have to go over to sears to talk to my friend about a new stove. My cooktop burner died-- the only large one I had, the one I used 90% of the time. The oven is so old that the part is discontinued and there is nothing we can replace it with. If it were any of the small burners, i would say I would just deal with one less burner. The last thing I need right now is to have to buy a new appliance. ugh......

well, noooo... the last thing I would need would be to buy a new car-- much more money than an oven. My car is having some small issues- radio won't work, roof leaks..... but all deal-able so *knocks wood it stays that way!*

T-day was nice. Gary was able to come with us, but withing 10 mins' his stomach was so bad he thought he was going tpo have to leave. I hate that for him and for us (kids and I). But he stuck it out, and you could tellhe was uncomfortable- but we were there together.
I got to spend a lot of the time with Christopher. I did share a bit LOL I took a ton of pics- I can't wait to download them today. Be warned you will be seeing them in the gallery for sure!!!

Catzilla is here to say rtiretnire tgbr;lykimhrtoyndfm

So happy TGIF!

Morning Chris & all - up since 6, only online shopping for now- planning for my trip, basement work, declutter the kitchen so I can put up my kitchen tree! I'm in the mood- thanksgiving is over. Our restaurant Thanksgiving was much nicer than I anticipated. At the end if you ordered the Thanksgiving meal- they brought you out a bag of "leftovers" for the next day- very cool. I need to craft today as well- dabble in the paper!!

Do adults get to run away?????? If so I want to just run away for awhile, yesterday was so stressful, thanks to my DH....I won't go into it, but I need some time out today.....

Anywho, just dropping in so you won't think I've disappeared completely......love you guys!

Good Morning "O" ladies... hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! TGIF!! this week flew by and that's a good thing, because things have been a little stressful at work this week. Cold and frosty this morning so I am sure the roads will be nice and slick this morning.

Chris - I hope you have a nice relaxing day to yourself to day, you deserve it!! Sure hope you can find a great deal on a stove!! So disappointing when you can't get the parts that you need to replace, it would be so much less expensive!! Glad that you all got to be together for your T-Day!! Looking forward to the many pics of your sweet Christopher!!

Laurie - Wow up early on your day off! Hope you find some great deals on line! Decorating your tree already? I don't even think of decorating until at least the second week of December. I guess I just got into the habit of waiting until after my son's birthday Dec. 11th, I always wanted his birthday to feel special and not taken over by Christmas.

Fran - :sorry: that you are not having a good day!! You could always run away to Canada and vist me :becky: Hope things get worked out for you today!!

 to everyone else who pops in today, hope you have a wonderful friday!!

Fran. Men. i get it. the only reason i wasn't yelling at my hubby yesterday was because i didn't host TG. every holiday i host, he's like having the Titanic parked in my tiny kitchen: getting in the way and not being helpful!!

hmmmm. let's seeeeeee. it's almost 2 p.m. and i don't have mch to report in terms of accomplishments. i vacuumed the family room. then it took me FOREVER to get Anna's new stuff announcement up in the Forum. i kept making mistakes, plus there's a LOT of stuff! then i went to get out of my pjs, showered, threw on My Uniform (Land's End fleece top and jeans) and headed to Burger King for a bunless burger and 8 french fries. then, as a high point, i stopped by the Home Depot and bought some batteries and a new mailbox. and now here i am, yakking and shopping and scrapping on the computer. WHAT GOOD AM I???

hope everyone is doing what they like today. i say, do some MORE of it!!

Hi Ladies - it's almost 4 and I have had a terrific black Friday. I took my garage sale credit and went to the paper scrapbook store - I got all the ingredients to redo 1 album from 7 x 7 to 8 x 8 .... got a new scrapbook trend magazine to drool wjile reading in the bathroom and some ribbons..... ribbons were on sale all you could fit in a bag for $2.50 and some Christmas paper to redo another page that is in my family Christmas album....( the digital paper I used bought it 3 years ago elsewhere just wasn't the right thing) so I'm going to have fun paper scrapbooking for a few days - the sale was good 40% off 1 item 30% off another and 20% off the entire order.

So I managed to have a good day and didn't spend a dime of real cash!

Frani - if you need to run away - My Great Aunt Irva used to go to New York City when she got mad at My Great Uncle John (mamaws oldest brother).... usually went with the kids and bought new clothes for a week then went home..... I'm divorced so don't take any advice from me......but a hotel room even in the same town sometimes can do the trick .... a hot tub.... a strange bed .... a pool .... when we were young... it always did the trick lol
