goooOOOd mOrning my O-zies! I am shocked, glad, relieved, and a little anxious that today is the last day of May. I am halfway through the Campbell Family Crazy Months. Wheee! But I still have to make it through to the end of June in one piece. Booooo.
I was so glad that I had yesterday off because I got so much done for the shower. I finished the favors and IMHO, they are too cute! You see all of those letters, stars, and bats?? That is what we had to place on the glasses individually. :thud:

I ordered the plates and cutlery, table runners, and balloons. Photos of the two of them for decorations. Last night, Caitlyn and I looked at the dresses and she is going to order them today. I think aside from the food/drinks, all of the major items are done. Oh yeah, the games. I still need to print all of them but the design of them is pretty solid. (Note to self-- you forgot to order the white cardstock, sheesh!!!). Thank goodness for Amazon Prime.

I had a chance to get out in the yard and do some gardening. ♥ I thinned out some of the vinca vine, sedum, and fleabane that is taking over. I wish I could do something about the poison ivy but that seems to be a lost cause for the non-professionals. All of our money is going to be saved for a new septic. If we baby this one, it *might* last another 5 years. Yay. :crying1:

I am working today and it should be a shorter day which will be nice. I got the information/handbook PDF this morning for the Wilderness First Aid course I am taking this weekend and already started reading it. I'll keep on that when I get home. I'm mostly skimming it to be familiar with the content so I am not completely lost tomorrow.

It is sunny and chilly (51*!) right now so if anyone wants some fresh air- I am sending it your way!

Hugs!

@JeanneMN yes, the sanity vibes were more important than the money. And in the grand scheme of things, what was I going to make.... $40? a drop in the ocean compared to the ~$40K we will need for a new system.
Me~> :lalalala:

One of the amusing things about working with young adults and with school kids is that I don't; have to "act my age." I had to cross the field to grab something the other day and one of the staff was getting the kids ready to run across the field and I would have been smack dab in the middle of the scrum. I was yelling Waaaaaait for meeeeeeee! while boogying as quickly as I could. The intern I was working with was doubled over, cracking up. No point in pretending that I have any sense of dignity and decorum. Nope.
Pretty lady slipper!!
Your sympathy card is beautiful :loveangel:
That is soooo exciting that you are meeting your friend this weekend! Have fun!!!

@mimes1 Good luck getting the vinyl windows all scrubbed but the house must look incredible! yeah, I am with you, I'd powerwash the driveway myself and I work for wine not $ :D
Soooo happy to hear that Mark's sugar levels were good, I hope this episode passes by and he stays nice and stable.
*belly rubs for Ike* When our first dog (my baby girl) couldn't jump on the bed anymore, we bought those stairs and she never used them. We'd lift her up and down until she wasn't comfortable up there.

@BrightEyes hahaha!! Love your "Book Math" :floorlaugh: Sounds like a win-win!
Hope the carpets look fantastic today!

@AK_Tracy Is your internet any better today or has this been an ongoing issue? When we had the power outage the other week, I felt lost w/out the internet LOL!
39 books this year! WTG!!!
How do you play El Dorado? We are always on the lookout for new games.

@Cherylndesigns I love you and your family and Roger's breakfast for Chuck was amazing and so very special. It brought me to tears. Dinner sounds exceptional too, you could not ask for a better way for the family to share the joy and grief.
I hope that you slept well and can take it easy today.

Good Morning ladies and Happy:friday: It's moving day at both places today and the trucks should be arriving at both houses any minute. FIL is up at the Lake property (probably pacing back and forth waiting for their truck). I should be able to hear the truck coming up the hill for the house across the street. SIL Linda, MIL, SIL Sharon, Sue the realtor and myself are all heading out for lunch today, MIL really needs a break from FIL as he has been a handful throughout this whole moving process. They take possession of the house across the street tonight at 5pm and I know that FIL will be here at least an hour early chomping at the bit to get into the house. We are all hoping that he settles down a lot when they are finally in this new place. Anyway I have lots to do here at the O and then I need to get a bed ready for SIL Sharon to sleep in for the next few nights. Please send good vibes our way that the move goes well today and then again on Sunday when the second truck will arrive with the rest of their stuff. Its going to be a very busy weekend!! :cowwaving:

I love these!!!! They came out bootiful!

Okay, sounds like youre on your own septic and I am gonna totally confirm how crazy I am. We too are on our septic. We dont use a lot of cleaners (all natural here) because they kill the bacteria a septic needs to break stuff down. Then I did some research on TP. Buy some bamboo TP from Cloud Paper (amazon). LOL It breaks down easily and wont cause septic issues.

This is a super fun board game. You change the layout each time. They have six sided pieces that you interconnect. Strategy for sure. You have personal card you play with to move your man across the board. You can buy more cards. Its fun, easy and quick. But it is strategy. They also have two additional add ons but the original is the most fun.

The carpet guy was able to come an hour early. He got the hall carpets stretched - then went to work on cleaning the carpets. Boy... he really had to work to get them done. There is a few areas (mainly in the hallways) that still show some wear but all in all, they look okay.

Last night was not a good night... woke up just after midnight with the muscles in the right side of the neck radiating down the right shoulder down to the wrist hurting big time. I did a bit too much scrapping (especially extracting images) yesterday afternoon. I worked on a couple of LOs and that triggered the problems. Got up at 2 PM and took pain meds and rubbed the area down with Asper cream. Finally fell asleep at 4 AM! Then I woke up at 6 AM - still hurting. Applied more Asper cream and then went to work on moving the stuff back into the family room. Thank goodness, he had put the chairs and end tables back where they belonged so I only had to deal with lightweight stuff. Took me almost 3 hours to get it done - with taking frequent breaks too. I pull out a long decorative runner from the garage, vacuumed both sides, then placed it in front of the 2 recliners as that area had gotten very dirty (from my shoes). Put a smaller one in front of the fireplace. Time for another pain pill, more Asper Cream, and sit on the massager and with the heated neck pillow. Scrapping will have to wait until tomorrow - June 1st.

Hello my O'Zies,

I don't have a lor of time, but Chris @faerywings I LOVE your favors and it was certainly worth your sweat of putting each individual letter on! Labor of Love right there. I slept like a baby last night. I made Daisy and Sam sleep on the couch and I had the bed to myself. Man, did it feel good.

I have been taking it easy today, but Adrienne wants to go get pedis and I really need one. We're not going until 3. I've been working on Color Play and still don't have everything wrapped up. They're all in the gallery, most of them are posted on various social media, so I'm making progress. I've only done 8 this time.

Trudy @taxed4ever that's great news that the big move is finally going to happen! It seems like you've all been working so hard for so long. I'm so happy that you're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and that they'll be so much closer.

I need to go finish my Color Plays so I can wrap that up before I have to leave. Hugs to ALL of you and thanks again for all of your support. :grouphugyay:
XOXO

I'm so glad you took the plunge and tried it, Tracy! That would be super cool to Steampunk your dog. Think googles and lots of metal. :floorlaugh::rotfl:
I have to confess. I didn't buy the bundle. :sad2: and now I wish I had. I bought the three parts I thought I would use most and I dont have googles. But I had fun. Off to upload her.

Did you get all of the antique pictures? You can always go back and buy the other packs. You'll want them. I'm such an enabler. Hahaha

I didn't. I got the main kit, the add ons and the masks. I didn't think I would use the photos. I love how everyone is using them though. I also punked my dog again. This time was more fun LOL

My dog wouldn't keep goggles on for 2 seconds. We have all these holiday headbands and when she sees me get them out, she tucks her tail between her legs. Chuck always helped me take her pictures by standing behind me with a treat. :rotfl:

HI Everyone - late check in today! I have ALL the vinyl windows cleaned!! And all but two of the window bays and window tracks are cleaned. I'll do that tomorrow. I will say I'm beat but the windows look great.
Last night poor Ike had an accident in the house so we were up at 2 am cleaning up. And today Ike does not feel good so we gave him rice and chicken and some anti-diahhreal. I called my nephew the vet and gave him all the symptoms and how we're treating it with what we have in the house and he said we're doing everything right. Mark and I made a plan today to move the computer downstairs so Ike can stay closer to the door and not work so hard to go upstairs and still stay by my side. I'm ready to make the move but then I think if we don't keep him moving he'll then be unable to do the stairs. Now he can do it 75% on his own - we're just giving him hind end support. And he has the cutest old puppy face and a great attitude. But I'm worried about him. But the good news is Mark didn't have a low at all last night so today he started his insulin regime in earnest. So we'll see how he does over the weekend but I'm encouraged that he's over the hump.

Here's a layout I made of Ike from SG and the Adobe Toon action. Isn't he the sweetest?
Off to go do a few personals -

The favors did turn out so cute! And hooray for a good dose of perseverance to get all those stickers on. Did you have a glass of wine when you were done?
All of our money is going to be saved for a new septic. If we baby this one, it *might* last another 5 years. Yay. :crying1:
We are on septic also and in addition to everything Tracy said, we put a cup of baking soda into our septic once a month. When I remember that is. I just flush it down or put it down the kitchen sink. It's supposed to keep the tank balanced in some manner.
It's moving day at both places today and the trucks should be arriving at both houses any minute.
I hope everything went well with the moves today!
Last night was not a good night
I'm sorry to hear you're hurting so much. Hopefully the asper creme and warm massage chair helped you feel better today. Rest is good! If you need more tomorrow be nice to yourself and allow yourself more rest!
@Cherylndesigns your encouragement on steampunk has inspired me.
You go girl! Your steampunk layouts are incredible!
Adrienne wants to go get pedis and I really need one.
@AK_Tracy all your doggie photos are so fun!

Off to go leave some more love in the gallery! Hope you all have a good night!
