:waving1 Hiiiii everybody!
How are you doing on this fantastic Friday? It's another cloudy morning, but it looks like we'll have a few days of sunshine ahead. That would be nice for a change. At least the weather forced me to stay inside yesterday. I scrubbed the kitchen and the bathrooms and they look so much better. I was hoping to get to my BR too but knew it was time to stop. That is on the list for today. I freaked the you-know-what out of myself when I looked at the calendar this morning. I am jam-packed with stuff to do until next Saturday. And I have a bunch of things I *have to* today so they don't fall through the many, many cracks in my mind.
But at least my kitchen is clean!

Time is flying so quickly that I am struggling to keep up with my tasks. The Weis director called yesterday to ask about the PreK summer camp I am leading in July. It felt so far away when we first discussed it. Now registration is opening and I need to get the program fleshed out. I had started on that and worked on the field trip for Monday. That is when I remembered that I have to take Gary to an eye dr appt before work, so I won't have any prep time before work that day. Tuesday's HS prep time is also non-existent because Gary and I are going to PA to celebrate Scott's b-day as soon as I get home. The morning will be getting myself and (maybe) the dogs packed and ready to go.
So yup, today I am cleaning my BR and getting the stuff ready to donate on Monday-- we are having the Vets come and pick up some household items and clothes for donation. (which-- shhh, don't tell my family -- I started to schedule online but never finished the process. :oops2: It is done now.
The rest of the day is going to be getting myself ready for the upcoming week-- including prep for the Week 4 AJ challenge. I spaced out that it goes live next week!

Before I sign off for the day, I have something awesome and cool and exciting to share! dance4
Check. It. Out.

GAH!!!!!!!!
I had been seeing my sweet friends at the old feeder but I *finally* got a few pics from the camera feeder. I immediately sent them to Scott who got the feeder for me for Christmas and knew how bummed I was that I hadnt gotten photos yet.
My tiny friends♥♥♥

(PS: You can see how the bottom of my rhodo is blooming and the top half looks dead. The top is getting some new shoots so I think after a pruning, it's going to be fine. Whew!)

HAGD!

@taxed4ever :lalalala:
*sobs*

I am sincerely so happy for you and your Gary. It's just not gonna be the same here without you.
Are you feeling any better after the vaccines and from allergies? The second shingles dose kicked my butt but maybe it won't affect you. xo

@BrightEyes ITA, Trudy is going to love this phase of her life, especially if this means they can visit her kids more often!
That's great news that your sister is coming in for a visit. Hugs to you and your girls and safe travels to DD#1

@AK_Tracy So sorry that your head was in a fog. When my brain gets overloaded, I can't seem to slow it down- wish there was a way to trade for a day.

@vickyday I bet Ilene was so excited to spend some time with you! Hope you have a successful and productive day for scrapping today

Busy, Busy, Bee, you are! And look at that beautiful hummer! The little one we have is finally drinking the nectar! I'll need to change it tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it has been 2 weeks since I made the batch.

At least I got one spread done for January. I had so many bird photos that I decided to do one spread "For the Bird!" I still want to do one for our Christmas family gathering from January, too. One spread at a time! ;)

Good Morning!
Feels like I have been up forever and yet it is still morning!

I got up at 6:45 and was at the track at 7. Did my 2 miles and came home and took a shower. Had to get ready for the doctor's visit (Former EMT, actually) for the health evaluation for the life insurance policy I am renewing. He checked the BP in both arms. Not sure how they can be different, but they were. The right measured 118/80 while the left measured 116/70. Strange. But maybe not! Anyone know anything about that?

Anyway, Mark came home so he could be with me since a strange man was coming. I'm glad because you can't be too cautious in this day and age. Very nice guy originally from VT. He said he felt so comfortable with us that he even asked if he could use our bathroom before he left, LOL! He said some people he deals with you just want to get out of the house asap!

Doing laundry today in between working on my monthly reviews. Need to go to the bank after while and will stop at Arby's for some sandwiches for our supper. Mark went in at 5:30 then went back after the health guy left and plans to work until noon.

Have a great day!

Good morning Ladies!
Another overcast day here. Guess that means I dont have to attempt yard work. :giggle4:

@faerywings Chris you are one busy woman!!! What happened to taking it slow and steady???? I love the hummingbird photo. How super cool to see.

@vickyday Vicky that's cool you had the appointment at home. I didn't know they still did home appointment. Glad Mark could be there for you too. Its always scary who will show up at your door.

Not much happening today.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Been up since 6:30AM and busy as can be. The girls are running errands that must be done before DD#1 flies home this evening. DD#1 stripped the guest room bed and the sheets just finished washing/drying. Need to get that bed made up this morning. Will do the other load of towels, etc tomorrow and will wait to do my 'regular' laundry until Monday. Seems strange to be doing at least 1 load of laundry every day for the past week. That is the difference when only 1 person is in the house and having 3 of us here. :giggle4:

I did get the Art Journaling Week 3 LOs uploaded this morning. Need to put my thinking cap on about the June challenge I will be hosting soon. My sister will be here either next week or the week after... plus DD#1 will be back probably the last week of May and into the 1st and 2nd week of June. Still have work on their son's house to get done.

It's been a pretty quiet week. Our new patio furniture came yesterday and it looks great. I was nervous about ordering from the web site and having not actually sit in a chair, but it was fine. Last night the dishwasher drainage water backed up into the kitchen sink and David spent a couple hours taking things apart and trying to trace the problem. He thinks it's the disposal, but it wasn't anything obvious, so we called a plumber. Of course, now it's coming on the weekend so no one can come til Monday. I guess it's a couple days eating from the bbq off paper plates. It could be worse. I'm just pretending we're camping.

Our daughter is having an appendectomy this afternoon, should be simple. Expected to be home in about 6 hours. In the meantime I'm just sitting and waiting for word.

HI Everybody. It's Friday, so you know what that means! 4 glorious hours to myself!! EXCEPT! Mark decided to come home early today - the pest guy was coming, and like Vicky said, you never know who's going to show up, so Mark was here for that. Now Mark is taking a nap, then he's taking Belle's car in for servicing. So I still get 2 or 3 hours alone after all. I'm going to scrap a page tonight, I have an idea for Vicky's AJ challenge, so we'll see if it comes to be!
We had three inches of rain a couple days ago - being from CA we quite like the rain here, and now it's 90 degrees! Everything is so lush and green, we love it.
Nothing super exciting here -
@Terri M sending prayers for your daughters procedure!
@faerywings Busy is good! It beats the alternative! You'll do great with your lesson planning for the Pre-K summer camp! You're a natural, and it will turn out great! Belle just finished an insect unit with her kids. They grew caterpillars and the kids loved it. So did Belle!
@vickyday @faerywings Mark put out our hummingbird feeder the other day. We haven't seen one come by yet since it's been up. We have a pair of house finches looking for a nest site on our porch. They've been carrying material and seem to be trying to build on this little ledge at the top of one of the posts. Not sure it will be successful for them , it seems a little narrow. But if that's what they want they'll find a way! Oh! We also found a Carolina Wren nest in one of our porch plants. Looks to be eggs right now. We found her by accident when we flushed her off the nest walking by it. Now that we know she's there we give her plenty of space and she's incubating very well.
@AK_Tracy Hello!!!

Hope you all have a nice Friday Evening!

@taxed4ever big decision but a change will be good...You will miss it but now your life will be so busy you will say how did I ever do it. Good luck with your next chapter!

@Terri M nice to have some down time for you...good luck to daughter wishing here a speedy recovery.

All the birdladies..I'm loving the pics, talks and pages. As we travel I get to hear so many different birds but don't get to see many. At our last campsite in a FL State Park I heard 20 different ones in 1/2 hour.

@faerywings You asked before about our travel. We stay a night or 2 up to a week at each site- it depends on what there is to do. Once we are in CT we will be at our son's for two weeks then we will go to his McCabin that is under construction in upstate NY and will be there 2 weeks I think.

I would love to send all of you some of our Florida heat and sun. It was 92 today so once we got to our destination we sat in the trailer with the A/C I was reading, hubby on his phone. Tomorrow we will explore the area and do laundry. No good weather for you @AK_Tracy so you can avoid the yardwork.LOL

@mimes1 I'm glad you got some time for your self. Your bird nests are so exciting it's so much fun to watch nests and see the babies grow to fledge. We see the baby ducks on the security cameras but cannot count them too good...looks like Momma lost another I think we are down to 7

@faerywings seems like since you are healed that work is dumping more work on you...I know you love it. You were talking of ticks...in the 8 years we have lived in FL. I have never seen a tick so I am a little leary heading N to tick territory again. Got spray and will check for them.

Happy Friday night to all.

LOVE the hummer pic!!! Woohooo!!!!! :heartpumplove: :heartpumplove: :heartpumplove: And YAY that your plant is getting new shoots at the top :beatingheart: Man, good luck with all of your upcoming things...I feel tired for you just reading all of it :giggle4::hug2:
