May 1!!!
Wow!!! There is so much going on today!! There is a happy birthday for 3 ladies, new May Challenges, new posting challenge, iNSD weekend (sales, lots of sales here!!). For me, it is also the beginning of Lyme Disease Awareness month (sorry in advance for anyone who is a Friend on FB. Actually-- not sorry, I hope to spread awareness/information about Lyme and the more people I can reach, the better.) and I am participating in Relay for Life as a Survivor at the end of the month. Add in all of the b-days and anniversaries this month and sheesh! It is going to get cah-ray-zeeeee!
Thankfully, my mood was somewhat better yesterday than on Wed. I didn't get the cards done like I had hoped. They have to be done today b/c I have a busy weekend. Tomorrow is my adorable godson's birthday party and Sunday my IL's are coming up for Gary's b-day. MIL is making the food, so I don't have to do too much for that. I feel really bad that I don't have anything for Gary as a gift. But we are going tomorrow to a local pet adoption so we are going to begin looking for a second dog.It is so impractical to do this, but we need some positive energy in this house. And dogs reduce blood pressure and stress/cortisol levels, and raise oxytocin levels- so that is a huge plus too
I had been dragging my feet on this since Christmas. Gary had given my that amazing sketch of my Babygirl who died 3 1/2 (is that right??? Seems like forever in so many ways) years ago and said that a new puppy was part of the gift. But it is time and hopefully the right dog will present herself to us.
So that is it from here. I am moving so slowly today, more than usual I think! It did NOT help that Gary forgot to set the coffee pot up last night and there was no coffee ready when I woke up. :fear:
I hope that you all have a fanTABulous day!
xoxoxo
