Another long week here but it is almost done. However, I am not sure why I get all excited about the weekend, since my weekends are not all that different than my week. I guess not having to wake up with an alarm is a good thing.

Who has fun plans for the weekend? Hope that all of you have something fun to do. I think I am going to stare out my window and wish for some spring weather sometime before June. I *need* to get outside and dig in the dirt. Too bad my dirt is still frozen. bah humbug!

Not much else to say here, same old same old kind of day. Bus stop runs, work, then dealing with a cranky husband. Not much excitement in that.

Morning Chris- two cups of coffee and I still couldn't figure out why the printer didn't print (cable not attached to laptop!) So happy it is friday as well. I think we will get the backsplash up this weekend. I know I have even more scrapping I want to do. I have done 24 layouts this month!! Almost one per day- and I still have some more that I want to do- since spring is not coming, I may just as well scrap last springs photos and pretend!

Nancy- where is the world is it going to be 70*?? Here, in NJ??????? I need to move to Tracy's house. I am not crazy about frying eggs on keyboards but it sure is better than the freezing stuff here.

I don't get much done at all. This week has been so lazy! Mostly been trying to figure out stuff about the trip to Manchester in August. I know, it's early, but we're not a family of globetrotters, and not rich either, so a lot of planning needs to be done. We don't even have passports to start with LOL Found a hotel that is just across the road from the venue where the convention is held. Not the most expensive, but not the cheapest either. Tickets to the convention is said to be released today, hoping they won't be too expensive. DH is almost crying when I show up with my estimates of the costs LOL At this stage it's more or less a guess, but I say we end up somewhere around $2500.

In a couple of hours my sis is coming and we're going up to mom and help her with some cleaning. Other than that - no plans for the day.

Eva- I always have to plan my trips in advance and I always cringe afterwords- my husband believes he works hard for his money and he should not have to worry the one time we go away for a week- yikes!

Just finished a modified workout- first time in a week! Easing back in slowly now that I can breathe again!

Good morning the sun is shining but the temp right now is 29 - Chris last year on these dates the highs were in the 70s. The weather man was just making me feel worse by telling me how nice it was last year so I had to share.

My NJ Devils won last night but the best was my goalie Martin Brodeur who had been injured came back and was credited with scoring a goal. Too fun! My only plans for the weekend knitting and going to a Devils game on Sat. night.

Went to bed and Shadow our kitty was on my bed. Normally she sleeps with my son. Well needless to say I did not sleep well. She was in the middle of the bed and did not move. I dont want hurt her so I dont get into a deep sleep. I guess I will need a long nap today! Good thing she is so cute!

Chris enjoy the weekend free from alarm wake-ups.

Laurie congrats on all the scrapping pages! You go girl!

Eva I feel part of the fun of a vacation is the planning and anticipation. Sounds like you are getting it all organized.

Good morning ladies....I am working on little sleep this morning!!! Not because I woke up....I was in bed late...NEIGHBOR DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UUGGHHH!!!

LONG STORY SHORT..........their kids beating on our door and ring our doorbell and running at nearly 9 last night and when we catch them they deny...Mike had no idea it was these young kids, so he took his shotgun outside to let "whoever" know he would not tolerate....we caught them in the act after that and I called their Mom out..she said NOTHING to them...even when the kids were extremely disrespectful to us by running their mouths at us....NOT ONE WORD FROM HER!!!! we go back in and at 11:30 the police show up at OUR door!!! WTH??


In the words of our kids "It's on like Donkey Kong Now"......................OMG!!! I have absolutely had it with these people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There have been so many times when we could have called the police because of damage they have done. But we didn't for the sake of "keeping the peace".... we could have sued them when our kids were younger for some of the things they did. I will never hold back again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am PISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSED OFF!!!!!!

Kids have been on spring break this week and they have loved it! The summer babysitter watched them over spring break and she has been a hit! Which makes for a very happy mama!

Eva, I had read that you were heading to Manchester but don't know what convention you are attending. And travel is expensive...but I love it! I am now working on our DC trip in June. I have the hotel booked and will book airline tickets this weekend.

Linda, so sorry about the crazy neighbors. Been there, done that! Fortunately, I like our neighbors now.

Chris, no fun plans here. Oh...just remembered, a baby shower for my (MUCH) younger cousin tomorrow. Need to shop tonight. ;-)

Morning "O" friends!! TGIF!! I am ready for this week to be over! I am getting my hair done this weekend and that is about the extent of my excitement!! Next week will be the last week with the old owners of the store. Still have not even seen the new ones yet, but I am sure we will all meet very soon! My girlfriend at work is lucky that she has her cruise during all this fuss, she misses out on all the suspense of what will happen to us. She also is going to miss inventory AGAIN!!! Lucky her! Oh well, a full day today and then the weekend, hopefully the weather is nice and we can get out on a hike somewhere.

Chris - Enjoy your day of staring out the window and dealing with your cranky hubby!! Hopefully his mood changes and so does the weather!!

Laurie - 24 layouts!! That's awesome!! I have been in a scrapping slump lately , but I do have one page that I am posting this morning.

Eva - Hope your trip doesn't end up costing as much as you think!! It is fun to plan a head but I usually let my MG do that, he finds way better deals than me.

Nancy - Glad your Devils won a game for you!! Beast from the East did too last night!! MG was in a great mood!! Have fun at your game this weekend!

Nana Linda - OMG you poor guys!! Put your boxing gloves on :boxing: its time to get round one going !! Perhaps some sort of surveillance camera around your house should be put up!! I hope you catch these little B%$#@ in the act and charge them!! Why do neighbours feel the need to be like this?? You know that I have similar bad neighbours, but so far no damage to our property, just very annoying!! Good luck my friend!! We are in the corner for ya!! :hug:

Eva, the cost of travel can be horrifying. i can't believe what a hotel room costs. (I'm old enough to remember WHY Motel 6 was named Motel 6--because it cost $6 to stay there.)

Nancy, was it really 70 at this time last year where you are?? we do seem to be getting these random warm days throughout the winter. i always refer to them as the days when God laughs and yells "PSYCH!!"

Trudy, won't it be great when this work transition is over and the dust settles? i wonder, does your friend PLAN to be MIA during inventory? smart girl :becky:

Nana, can you move? i hate bad neighbors with a passion. you should visit the police station and lay out and have in writing, too, your experiences with these pigs. careful with the gun thing, though. also, some simple security cameras? i had a friend who went outside with a video camera and filmed the bad stuff that was going on, and she WON in the end. how annoying, though. it seems like it's impossible to just live a good and blameless and non-annoying life anymore. people keep wanting to suck you into their disfunction.

just finished FINALLY transfering all my Audiobook CDs. whew. time-consuming. but now i can take Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy with me wherever i go on my iPad. what a life-goal.... after i get out of my pjs, gonna go to the French bakery where i buy my nutrolls for Easter. the guy would make a GREAT Polish guy. he makes better nut roll than my old aunties! then going to Bed Bath and Beyond to use my $5-off coupon on some chocolate candy for Easter. totally thrilling day. just some pretty mindless running around. i'm good at that.

OH Angela...no worries if you don't respond.....most days I don't have enough time to do personals...but I read everything....I love knowing what's going on with everyone!!! and I just love everyone here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to have all day long every day...but life changed for me and my time is not my own any more............

Girls...I have just been brewing over this neighbor mess ALL DAY LONG!!! I have been so unproductive because of it too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to snap out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I checked into security cameras....I think we will be installing them very soon......I need to figure out how to pay for 3 days a week of daycare for Jesse and Jaiden.....Sharon is putting Cameran in 3 days a week....I am talking about for the Summer.....it really is a good thing for them...they take them and do things with them every day....like skating, swimming, hiking, bowling....a whole list of things..... I just don't want them out here being influenced by the "future convicts" at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Phylis...if we could move we would in a heart beat....but unfortunately the housing market is still bad here....we are on the tail end of everything....we were the last to get hit by it, but we will be the last to recover. Out intention was always to move when Mike retired.

Guess what??? Friday is "STay up all night" night every week at our house, so I'm going to go as long as I can!! LOL!!! Really, it's just Lillian's excuse to start a string of movies and fall asleep in the middle of the first one and then go on up to bed around midnight!! LOL!!

Nana, we had neighbor troubles, too...we think the dad may have been abusing the mom, but we never found out. We think they hated us because when Quentin was little, he went around telling everyone they were going to hell unless they went to church (my little evangelist!!). I didn't find out until later that he was telling everyone that! LMBO!!! But these neighbors, after reporting us to our HOA and yelling at me (thank GOD my fil was right there...and my fil is a Marine!!), etc...they finally moved!! Whew!! I'll pray that your neighbors hightail it outta there!!! special hugs, babe!!!
