Daily Ooo's: Friday, March 10: The PARTY Edition

Happy birthday to Oscraps!!!!
If you haven't been here for a Birthday Bash before, you are in for a treat! This year has to be the biggest party ever. I don't know how the Birthday O'Fairy and our Mamma O do it. Bigger and better every darn year!

I am happy that the party starts today since that will keep me from staring out of my window grumbling at the snow. It was 50* yesterday and today it is snowing and then in the 20*s the rest of the weekend. *grumble grumble*
I did get outside yesterday and spent about an hour uncovering the plants that are coming up. Lilies and tulips and daffodils. Even my crocuses are blooming. And today they are covered with snow. *more grumbling*

Not much going on here in my personal world. Laundry and packing to get ready for tomorrow. I hope to leave early, around 10 to be there around lunch time. we will have to see how well I get 3 young adults and 2 dogs out of the house.
We are bringing the dogs and Cait said that she will take them out for me. They will be fine esp if there is snow for Jaida to run around in.

Trudy- yippeeeee! That is great news about losing more lbs and inches. I guess steamed broccoli and soy sauce isn't going to cut it when everyone else is eating Chinese food.
Your hike sounds so relaxing, and how nice to have it bring back good memories even though it was a difficult time for you and Heather. Hope that the swimming went well and the pool wasn't too busy.

Rae- You truly do look so amazing! Good luck with the moving this weekend. Bet it is bittersweet for you both but good for Jen in the long run. And only 7 minutes- that is awesome. I wish I lived closer to my family. It isn't far like Trudy's but even an hour drive can be exhausting for me.

Sharon- Oh no! Good thing that dogs are so cute because if they weren't... what a mess and with ink! Ugh! Hope that today can be a resting day for you. (haha, what is *that?* )

Good morning, ladies. Its going to be a fun wkend at the O and I'll be able to pop in and out as we help Jen move stuff into her new place. She's getting excited but also sad about leaving here. She said she will miss the words "dinner's ready" as I yell it out for her and Darrell to come to the kitchen LOL. I said I'll miss someone cleaning up all the kitchen after dinner. I think she'll be popping by lots, at least at first, as she's never lived on her own before so it'll be very quiet and strange for her. The movers are coming tomorrow morning for the bigger things so we don't have to do much heavy lifting. Can't wait to see her place. It's small but a brand new house so all the appliances are new and there's no wear or tear on the place.

Taz and I will be popping over to the pet store later. I went to get the new bag of dog food out of the basement only to realize there was none LOL. Luckily I had canned dog food so he was happy to eat that for dinner. He'll enjoy the visit there today. I'm trying to think of a different meal for dinner. I'll have to search pinterest later. Maybe meatloaf, meatballs, etc.

Chris - you must be getting excited to head over to your parents place. Hope it is a relaxing quiet time for you, you need it.

I'm getting to work now. Trying really hard to get more done in the morning so I don't have to work so late into the evening (b/c of all the breaks I take LOL, I'm so easily distracted). It was nice to sit down after dinner with the family and relax, chatting about our day and playing with Taz.

Hi Ladies!! Happy Birthday to the O! It should be a fun filled weekend! I am very late arriving to the party as I had a few things to get done before opening up my computer and then a couple of phones calls from my sister and then a FaceTime with Mason and heather, its been a busy morning LOL.

Chris - Have fun doing :washing: and packing, it will be good for you to get away! Hope Cait keeps her promise to take care of the dogs for you! Love your new Avatar!

Rae - You are going to have a busy weekend and hope that your daughter loves her new place! Poor Taz no dog food left LOL. Have a good trip to the pet store! Hope you manage to get all your work done this morning!
