where did this month go? Seriously, now that it is summer here, can time please slow down? Pretty please??

I am off to the kids' Lyme dr today. I know he is going to "yell" at Cait for slacking on her meds. But after being on them for 4 years I don't really blame her, but at the same time if she doesn't take them consistently, she is not going to get better.

So this makes for a long and exhausting day, and expensive too. I know we all have different philosophical views on the US healthcare decision yesterday, but from a purely personal economic stand-point, I am thrilled. I am trying very hard to not be a statistic on medical bankruptcy, but it is not easy.

I have to go and get the kids up and out. I am sure they are going to be just thrilled, especially when I tell them they should bring hteir summer reading for the 4 hours we'll be spending in the car ;)hehehe!!!!

Finish It Friday- I want to finish my posting goal but I am about 45 posts away ATM. I have to do it!!!
 
You will definitely get that June posting goal Chris. And I can only imagine how that conversation about reading will go...if it is anything like the ones that I keep having at my house. Good luck!

So glad it is Friday...hope I can veg at the O for awhile!

Chris - Hope the Dr. visit goes well for everyone! You know how I feel about health care :thumb: We would be bankrupt after Heather's illness if we didn't have the health care we do in :canada: Have a fun four hrs in your car :becky:

LindaS - I hope you get to spend some time here too!! You are such a busy Mom, I don't know how you do it all?? :hail:

It's :rain: again for us, sure wish you guys would send some of your summer weather our way!! Canada Day on the 1st of July and as usual it will be not so nice according to the weather man, let hope that he is wrong!!

HOT!!! crikey. enough of this, already! my face still hurts, but i'm pushing through it. (the Dr. said that he didn't really see anything and that i should wait and see if anything develops. in the meantime....)

no time for personals, and i missed yesterday altogether because of a bad attitude. i will try hard to get back on track ASAP.

good morning all....feeling much better today....throat still a little sore but better....that can go away anytime now....im supposed to be out of the contagious stage now....im so hoping none of the kids or dh gets this blah....will ruin the weekend LOL...we are supposed to go to my sisters inlaws house for a pre-4th bbq....so we will see....the only ones i am worried about is Karl and Helena....since of course i've kissed him....not since i've been feeling like poo but a couple of days before that....can't remember if i kissed him the morning i got sick....i think i did LOL.....yikes!!! and helena was all up in my face that day as well....so guess we will see maybe they'll get lucky?? i hope so!!!

anyways Phylis...im sorry you are not feeling good.... *hugs*

I just have to warn you all! This is serious! Do NOT clean your house!!! I did it yesterday, and while I was moving some chairs around, I must have done something wrong - hurt my back. Having a hard time walk today. Not much pain, just hard to move.

Never cleaning my house again! ;) LOL
 
Aw Chris I feel so bad hearing about the expense of healthcare in the US, Canada has issues but we do have good healthcare.
Yikes Tanteva take care of that back-don't sit too long!

I have to help teach a card making class tonight (using actual paper, yikes) and today I am king to drive my daughter around to drop off resumes at all the local spots. And I am going to play with Anna's FABULOUS new art play!!
 
Heather sounds like a great day for you!! I hope the weather clears up for your trip out West too!!
