:clap2:Happy Friday everyone!!!:clap2:

And huge sighs of relief for me. At the end of April, I was ramping up for a very hectic two months. And all of that stuff has now ended and I have a couple of months of relative calm (Keyword: Relative LOL). No birthdays, anniversaries, graduations etc. I will still be dealing with drs appts and some vet appts but other than the regular stuff, I am good to go.
Whew!!!!!

As for the vet stuff, I have to take my sweet boy, Merlin to get checked out. Poor kitty is really getting old. He is the one we adopted around 12 years ago and he was an adult cat when we got him. We have no idea of his actual age, But over the last year, he has been losing weight and has been having digestion issues. The kids have been on my case to get him in, but I haven't wanted to b/c I am scared that they are not going to give me any good options. But I now have an appt for him on Monday and I will see what they say.

Yesterday was nice. Very quiet but that is good. I really didn't even want to bother with my b-day. But my family didn't want that :) They got me a faery and a wold figuring and a really yummy scented candle. We had a awesome picture of the 4 of us together from Cait's prom so they printed and framed that too. Gary made penne and vodka for dinner too.

Thank you all for the b-day wishes as well

Today I am off to the lake!!!!!! I haven't been there yet so it will be really nice to get my feet in the sand! Oh I just has a great thought. It just occurred to me that I have to find a way to keep my PICC dressing dry and sand-free. Caitlyn just gave me a bag full of socks that are old/worn out. I can cut them up and layer them over it. Oooooh, Faery be stylin' :pound:

I hope that you all have a truly fabulous day!!!!!

Hi Phyllis! :plane:

Sara, safe trip!!

Nancy- I bet your books are going to look amazing. Give us a review of Adoramapix when you can.
Humid-- yup, yup yup! NJ summer!

Trudy- Did you get to take Mason to the park? That is rough about him not sleeping. Do you think it is still time change stuff? Hope that settles down for you all soon. Poor Heather must be exhausted.
ITA agree with you about Phyllis- I truly hope that she can someday scrap again. But I am so happy she still hangs out with us looney tunes!

Hugs and love and happy Friday!

good morning - had a great time watching the USA/Germany soccer match and watching the USA go through even though they lost 1-0. Got in a good walk just waited until late afternoon when the sun was not so strong. Today should be the same. I am taking my Escape up to my son who is going to put a hitch on the back of the car. I also got my WeatherTech car mats. My husband took our grass clippings to the conservation center but in doing so he spilt so much that the rotten smell is still in the car along with debris and spiders. Yesterday the glass company came and replaced the windshield on the Fusion but that meant that my son could not drive his car to work and then when he went to get in mine there was a spider's web which I had to get rid of and kill the spider. I am still annoyed. But when I get my hitch I will be happy!

Chris I am glad you had a wonderful birthday. Enjoy today at the lake. It is pretty cloudy right now here hope the sun burns it all away. Framing that photo of your family by your is just exactly the present I would love!

Phylis how is the kitchen coming?

Trudy how is that finger doing? Hope you got your walk to the park in - I am sure that Mason will love it.

Have a great day all!

Chris, so glad you had a calm and lovely day. i love that Gary did the cooking! is Scott able to get a meningitis shot and Hep B shot before he starts going to school? important! have a relaxing time at the lake.

Nancy, does a "hitch" mean that thing you use for towing? what can an Escape tow? aren't they kind of small? ick on the spiders. i know they're so helpful in the environment, but i don't want them in my house. and i always have them in my house. i got bit by one two years ago, and then i declared war.

Trudy, hope that Mason gets used to west coast time and starts snoozing again. do you think that's what going on?

Hi, Jean!

well, i just got off the phone with a Government Agency. :faint2: i've been trying to get an official copy of a document, tried doing it online, they ended up charging me the $149 fee, even though i didn't finish the application or submit it, (they make you enter your credit card info BEFORE they allow you to get to the application...) and i've been trying to get a credit and an explanation re: why they charged me for something. emails. phone calls. damned bureaucracy!! what a way to start the day. i've been cooking since 6 a.m. going to visit DS and Fam this weekend, the last time i'll see the Grandmen and The Peanut for over two years, as they're off to foreign destinations again. sigh....

well, enjoy Friday and the weekend. do something fun for YOU! or refuse to do something that ISN'T fun for you! :becky:
