Happy Monday!!!!!! And no I am not being totally sarcastic. (Really, I am not!!) I have had a really good run of sleep (*knocks wood so I don't jinx myself*), had a pretty relaxing weekend, got to the lake for a couple of hours to read in the sun. So I am not feeling as stressed and exhausted as I usually do on a Monday. ;)

I hope all of you are feeling the same, if not better!

How was all of your weekends? Father's Day is Sunday and have NO idea on what to do or make for all of the Dad's. What are you guys doing? I am thinking about making some type of gourmet brownie or something but it has to be able to freeze well since I don't know when I will be seeing the grandpas. My IL's were planning the Father's Day BBQ but they are coming back from Ireland tomorrow, and MIL is still not able to get around well with her broken leg. I simply can't do a big family BBQ here as much as I want to. I guess it will all work out at some point.....

Off to walk with my friend if it doesn't rain and then working at my funny client's house. I saw almost all of my client's yesterday at the beach, one after another they walked past me. The kids are funny, the little ones aren't sure where they know me from. Its like when I was teaching. If the kids saw me in Shop Rite they were all confused. LOL

Anyway- that's all from cloudy NJ. Hope you all have a great day!!
Oh!!!

In case you haven't seen it yet, check out the Charity Collab After The Storm

It is amazing~~~

From Sunday:

Nancy- what crazy days in sports!! Hope you had a good day yesterday.

Angela-- sounds like an amazing weekend!! yay!!! Especially not having to cook!

xoxoxo to everyone!

 Chris, you might be a little less happy about it being Monday if you really knew it was Monday instead of Friday. (Look at the heading)

Quick one from me. Another crazy weekend...but fun. Syd played with another soccer team in an out of town tournament this weekend. The team did very well. One of Syd's friends is on this team and the two of them together are just a powerhouse...they work so well together.

Busy time at work, busy time at home...and I need to get ready for our trip which is a week from Wednesday. Oh my goodness...I always have everything well planned long before now. Have decided that we are staying in DC the entire time...plenty to do there!

Trudy, hope that the joy of the baby shower relieves some of the worries!

Phylis, hope that you had a nice vacation and that you got some pictures that bring your mojo back!

Talk to you all later tonight!

Morning O fam - it is raining here today, so I put on a bright shirt to cheer myself at work. I don't mind going to work on rainy days as I am not missing outdoor time. Yesterday a car pulled into the field driveway across the road and we saw people get out and start walking around the field looking down. We had no clue what was going on and we knew they were not the farmer or the person who planted the field. This went on for 4-5 hours and they crossed into other fields and even the fields on our side of the road. Imagine our surprise when we went to get out of the hot tub and they were in the field next to us- hmmm. They started to come close to the back of our property, but as we began working on our yard and garden they stayed away. WE think they were looking for Indian artifacts, but really you would think they would tell people that instead of just walking around- yes I am a little paranoid and suspicious we have lots of drug issues in our county and therefore lots of thefts as well. So today, off to work and home to play! Enjoy your Mondays everyone!!

Good morning - woke to a cloudy day with rain on the way! Have a lot of chores to do today. Loads of wash and grocery shopping. Going to make a Rachael Ray chipotle beef stroganoff. I have an extreme dislike of rain but need to eat so I will have to get wet and not looking forward to that at all. Had a good walk yesterday and saw a large herd of deer a buck, 3 doe and several fawns. So cute as long as they do not come to my backyard and eat my bird's seed.

Chris I have to say your post heading of Friday made me laugh - guess you are hoping for a fast week. Glad you had a good nights sleep

Linda while your weekend was busy sounds like it was great that your daughter got to play soccer with her friend.

Laurie I think I might put on a bright shirt too!

Have a great day all!

Oh there I go again, date challenged!!! And here i am thinking that Monday is not so bad, no wonder-- I think it is Friday!

Morning ladies everyone is fast asleep so I will quickly post here and let you all know that things are going very well here now! Guess baby's Daddy realized that they are all sleep deprived and has promised to do his part and not just lie around all day. He is great with the baby but there are a lot of other jobs that need to be done around here as well. He is back at work and so today DD and baby have to figure out a routine and how to manouver around the house while no one else is around. But right now they are both fast asleep in the living room its nice that she is catching up on her sleep!! I guess it is good that she does not have a job that she has to get back to, but they could sure use the extra $$!!!! So things are less stressful here today and we will see what the day brings. Big thunderstorm last night it woke me up I have not experienced a good storm since I left the praire 7 years ago, so warm and humid today but no sun :pout: Hope everyone has a great day today! Sorry no personals, I can't wait until I can post on my computer again instead of this iPhone!!

Morning everyone!!! Yep, it feels like Friday, right, Chris???? I was wondering why Trudy was posting in last Friday's thread!! LOL!!!

I had a busy busy weekend...I posted about it on my blog! yay! I'm still posting almost everyday (sometimes I take a weekend day off to catch my breath!), but it is keeping me on track creatively.

Quentin leaves on Saturday to get three days of missions training and then he flies off to Zambia!! Eeeeeeek!! My son in Africa!! Actually, I told him to bring home all of the orphans he could fit in his suitcase for us! My heart breaks for them!! So I'm excited he'll be ministering there!!! I'll post a link to his FB page where they will post pics of his trip and all.

Love the charity collab!! Can't wait to D/L it all!!! eeeek!!! That will for sure launch me into digiscrapping again, huh??? I have to admit...when I saw the papers, I thought...OHhhh I wish these were in fabrics!! :) ♥♥♥

Have a wonderful MONDAY!!! I have to go make children clean!! oh joyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Hello all!
I was so busy the last few days that I didn't check on the site much. I had a banquet that I was in charge of. I did the decorations, favors, 4 raffle baskets Kalua Pork Sliders (pulled pork in King's Hawaiian rolls), Haupia (coconut pudding), Pina Colada cupcakes & pineapple Cake Pops (that looked like pineapples), and Jungle Juice.
I had to make everything, deliver it, set it up and then participate in the event, then pack it all up and head home to iron my hubby's shirt, get ready and jump in the car to head to a wedding 2 hours away. The wedding was nice, but it was 109* and it was ALL OUTSIDE! So very hot, I was melting in the shade.
As to Father's Day, hubby asked to stay home, but we are thinking of doing this for him:
