Sally - "In my own little corner...all alone in my own little chair." I adore that version. It has such a fond spot in my heart. My mom and grandma both loved it and so I loved it. I would turn the record player up and get out that 33 1/3 RPM and blare it and dance around my room pretending to be Julie Andrews or Leslie Warren. Now, I have those songs in my head and have to go find my mp3s of it. =)
Linda P - You had a busy day too girl. Hope you are having fun!!
Yvonna - *Hi!!* Don't ever feel sill about asking around here. People are so nice, and like Sally said, we all had to ask!
Andrea - I thought of you when I was out with my SIL today. She said that my brother loves to repeat a phrase to her that her doc had said. The doc had said..."Since you are of 'advanced age'"... "Advanced Age"??!!! I said, "You're only 35! And she said, apparently that's the line for being pregnant. I thought that seems so crazy to call that "advanced age". 40 is not "advanced age"...that makes it sound like you're 85 and ready for AARP! Geesh! Anyway...hope everyone was happy for you!
Clara - I told her we had to go to Old Navy too. We actually went there first. I was SOOOOOOO disappointed. Their maternity section was less than a third of what it was when I had Ben. We got NOTHING there. She spent about $140 at Kohls and $100 at Motherhood, and I gave her a pair of pants and a pair of shorts. So i think she is fairly well stocked. I wish I hadn't given all my maternity stuff away. But she's a very no-frills kind of gal, so a lot of my stuff wouldn't have suited her at all. =)
O.k. So...got her stocked, got baby clothes from my cousin who had triplets for my SIL, (also got a bunch of jammies for Ben for next winter), played with Ben a lot, picked up the living room and his room, started one load of laundry, and made desert. I'm ready for bed. =)
Hope everyone has a fantastic Fourth of July. Even those of you who don't live in America, after all, you should have a fantastic fifth of July, and sixth of July, and seventh of July....that's just a good attitude to have on life, right?! =)
