Happy Friday lovely O-zies!!!
Oh my, what a luscious day I had yesterday! The walk and yoga was so energizing and mindful. Next week is the last week and I am really bummed, I have enjoyed it so much. Cait and I had a great convo in the car, then we walked together at Botanical Gardens which were so pretty, then she drove us home and I didn't "fake-brake" once LOL I was able to get a couple of hours in at the lake, came home and played with the puppies outside, I LOOOOOVE seeing Ray so happy and playful again. I know how much she missed Harley and was so lost for so long, so to see her engaging with Jaida makes me thrilled! I guess some dogs are content being "solo" but others need that companionship. The kids were all here for dinner (b-fast for dinner which is so much fun to begin with). Then becasue of a timing error on Wed I didn't have to do my Rocephin IV because I ended up doing both doses on Wed night. I am supposed to infuse 1g a day, but the vials come in 2 grams so we need to watch the bag and only do half. We missed the cut off point and I ended up dripping the whole bag Whoops! Some nice time watching TV with Gary, and when I went to bed, I could hear all of my kids and their friends laughing.

Is that not an amazing day????

Today is going to be another beautiful day weather-wise and after I do some work around the house, I am off to the lake for a little bit. Both of my bio-kids (haha!!!) are working tonight and Brendan was supposed to be doing something with his mom, but he is really sick- fever/sore throat/headache, so I guess that is up in the air. I hope he is better today. And tomorrow too- his first day of work at his new job in town.

Today is National Tequila Day.

Personally, I do not like tequila, not any drinks made with it, but I know some people here like margaritas.
Enjoy!

nancy- How many days is the TdF? Thoses racers have stamina!!! (and sore butts!). We haven't seen many deer around here this year. No bears in my yard either. Scott was telling us that the other night there was a bear near the outside dining area at work. Being from town, all of the people got up, snapped some pics, went back to eating. ;)
OMG- the photos from the fire were awful, that thick black smoke. Really glad you didn't get affected by it. It looked brutal...

Sharon- how nice to be able to go back to sleep, twice! And to have the house to yourself for a bit. I have absolutely no idea what that feels like anymore :pound:
Believe me, I get it- I live with the vegetarian and it makes me crazy at times. And my brother- he tries so hard to have a vegetarian option when he has family parties, but he *always* orders eggplant parm which Cait hates. He will even ask me ahead of time about what she will eat and I will tell him again and again, she does not like eggplant. But it is all good. She eats cheese and crackers and whatever veggies they have. And dessert... she likes dessert LOL
Send me that column, I would love to read it!!!!
Sadly, the wildlife here is coming into neighborhoods because we are so overdeveloped. My BFF lives in a suburb not far from NYC and they are having coyote sightings. It is crazy and sad.
You are seriously rocking the pages and challenges and still have time to comment on LO's! I am sadly far behind on that.

Hummie- no worries about knowing who is who- I have been here since the beginning and I still get confused. Some days (most days *cough cough*) I don't even know who *I* am!
That cooking style is brilliant! You will hear me complain, a lot, about trying to feed my family and my kids SO's. My DD is vegetarian, my DS, DH, and I don't eat red meat or pork. His GF doesn't like spinach, avocados, or tomatoes which are typically staples here. And my DD's BF who is living with us for now is lactose intolerant and cheese is also a staple here. Add in crazy work schedules and I don't know whether I am coming or going.
I am going to follow your Recipe board for sure! Thank you!
Wishing you luck and mojo on the dog challenge. I hate when I get scrap-block. Yup, some Pinterest/Gallery browsing, and then sometimes a template help me get past that. I hope it works for you because I looooove seeing LOs of dogs!! Love love LOVEE!!!!
(I love dogs, in case you couldn't tell) :D

We're enjoying another beautiful day! My sister continues to do well. We were there both Tues. & Wed. helping in part with her new computer. She can no longer get upstairs to her computers, so we're installing things on her new one on the 1st floor and bringing in the old data, etc. New technology is not her thing though. ;) She was pleased to know you're all pulling for her.

Chris, so great that you had such a good day! Hope today will be more of the same and that Brendan gets better quick. Trying to feed everyone with all the different dietary needs would drive me bonkers!

Sharron, you have been a marvel with all the wonderful LOs!

Hope it's a good start to the weekend for all.

I'm late today. We played golf first thing this morning. Did my usual...some good, mostly mediocre, but glad I went. It actually sprinkled on us for a couple holes, but other than that, nice golfing weather...overcast and cool.

My oldest son's wife's pug died yesterday. :( Very sad. I am NOT a Pug Person, but I am a Pet Person, so I'm feeling really bad for her. It was a young dog. Had just had surgery for a bowel obstruction, and seemed to be recovering fine. So I don't know what happened. They don't communicate much.

Chris, I hope today was as good for you as yesterday, and that Brendan is better.

Jean, sounds like you are being a wonderful sister...ministering to her in several needful areas.

I hear mocha noises coming from the kitchen. Guess I will catch up on what's going on in Cyberland, then go cut up watermelon to take to Bible study tonight....then maybe a little Golf Nap.

Chris, I'll also try to dig up that Vegetarian column.

I love the "O"
hello,

Hi girls I´m still alive. so much is going around here and I wasn´t in the mood to sit in front of my computer. The main reason....it was so hot. We had such hot month years ago I´m sure, but I never felt the heat as much as this year. maybe it will be more difficult with the age *lol*. On the one hand I love the heat, it makes me feel it´s summer. But on the other hand I can´t do anything.
Another important step : My daughter finished school and had her prom. Every class made a 5 minutes programm (my daughters class was dancing )and a video of all school photos. It was very emotional. A lot of speeches, the director, the students representative and so on. The kids sang together "supergirl" by Anna Naklab ( I love this song and it made my nearly cried when I saw all the girls on the sage singing this song) . 3 hours later they got all their certificates. All 131 students( all girls :) it was a girls´ school ) have passed. A great success.
I will show you my daughter in the next layout
Tomorrow my husband goes to his yearly health week to relax and I have much time for my computer
