Hi sweet peeps!
I can't believe it is Friday. This week has gone pretty slow, but I think even Time is getting stuck in the humidity. hahahah!!!This should be the last day of the heat wave in this area. Real Feels of 107* expected today. I am dreading what my electric bill is going to look like. I finally got us almost caught up on the budget plan, and now this month is going to sink me again. Oh well.
It is what it is.

Our recycling center/mulch pile caught on fire again yesterday, for the fourth time this summer. The heat is just too hot in there and from Town Gossip, the manager is not keeping up with the turning of it. Poor firefighters having to deal with it

Caitlyn was bored yesterday afternoon, so I took her out for a ride around town, with the windows down and the music blasting. I told her that this is pretty much what teens do when they are bored. She said, Yeah, I know. But you are the only person I know with a car. LOL Then we went to the Pet Store and laughed at the baby mice and the nursing mama. The babies we about 1 week old and the mama looked like she was so done with it already. At one point she got up and tried to move into the "house" and the babies were still all hanging on.... I ended up buying some un-needed dog treats since they let us stay and laugh for so long.

Today is also my last day of driving my friend's son to camp. After that I am meeting another friend to walk on the track for a bit. Then it is the lake!

Phyllis- I hear ya on wanted to turn the AC off. This is getting ridiculous, eh???? How was the trip to the mall? It really is so much more fun shopping for baby girls than boys. I remember when I was pg with Scott and looking at little dresses. I would rub my stomach and say that I "knew" he was a he but it was still fun to look at the girlie clothes. (No u/s, just maternal instinct that he was a he)
Ack, you are so like me with the needing a bubble..... The air from the fans don't bother me so much but the noise about makes me crazy. We watched "Incredibly Close and Uncomfortably Loud" (Or is it Uncomfortably Close and Incredibly Loud?? Either way....) and the boy cant stand sounds and stuff and i yelled-- That is ME on Tindamax!!!!!!!

It is SO nice to have someone understand my nuttiness.


Nancy- not sure if you will read this, but have a wonderful trip!!!!!!!!

Trudy- ugh about not sleeping. I just tried this new stuff..... why can;t I remember the name? it will come to me.Midnight something or other??? Its a low dose of meltonin with lavender and melissa in it I think. Its a chewable so you can keep it next to you if you wake up. It has helped me several nights when I woke up like that.
So jealous (in a gooood way!) about your scrap mojo. I got one page done, took me forever, and I am not happy with it at all
I'll try again today...
I love your painting and I guess it is hard to make a profit on anything hand-made at this point. But you really are so very talented.

yup. I get you, Girl!!

my poor little AC unit huffed and puffed all day yesterday, but by 6 p.m. it had gotten up to 81 degrees inside the house. this will probably happen again today. I STILL didn't open up the windows, because 81 degrees was STILL way cooler than it was outside. tomorrow is supposed to feature strong storms and a decrease in temps. I'M READY!!!!!

Hi Ladies... I am very late getting in here as I went for my morning walk before the heat settled in. Not as warm as all of you but I sweat enough on my walk so going early is better! Wow not much action here these days, guess everyone is enjoying the summer or on vacation in PARIS!!!! :hurt: I am so jelous!! Hope you are having fun Nancy!!! :becky:
Hope you all have a wonderful friday, I am looking forward to hubby bringing home something for supper tonight so I don't have to cook!! We are hoping to get to Rathtrevor beach this weekend, but something always comes up to prevent us from going. Keep your fingers crossed for us to get there this Sunday! Busy doing some layouts for the Summer challenges coming up. Having lots of fun going through some old summer photos! Like Phylis says stay cool and be cool LOL :wave:

today the backyard was almost ready, at least now we can sit and I could put op the swimmingpool for the kids, so I'm happy!
And this evening we were suprised by a mom of friends of the kids and the wife of Ben teacher with 2 beautiful bikes for Luc and Nik .... soooooo happy and thankful for that. Now I can go out on the bike with all 4 kids, so I'm not stuck at home this summer

Evening all - just got home from work and I am making brownies- realized too late that my AC is not working- it was 79 in the house, now up to 80 with the oven running. Hoping to make a snack to share with family tomorrow- but if AC is not working, I am thinking the snack will be for us to eat this weekend instead!
