Daily Ooo's: Friday, July 10

Hello and Happy Friday my lOvelies!!!

I am putting my happy face on today and am so thankful that I can do that!! The weather here is *amazing* and I am going to the lake with my mom. It is going to be great!
(Only some of that ^^ was forced, not all-- it is a good start!)

Yesterday it was :rain: all day which made me feel even more dreary and achy. But I had my kids home for dinner and that made me happy. Jaida was a good puppy and that also made me happy. I have noticed that she goes through growth spurts and stubborn spurts at the same time. She will eat and eat, and then seems to shoot up in size. At the same time, she becomes a brat! Then a couple of days later, she settles back in. Our other dogs were rescues too, but were older, ~6 months when we got them so we missed a lot of the young puppy stage. Not that the didn't come with other issues, but not the intense growth stuff.

Cait is awake and playing with Jaida right here now, so I am going to post this, and be back soon!

Jaida is sleeping- thought she would want her b-fast but nope.
I am going to get some b-fast soon too but I wanted to check in with personals:

Nancy- ARGH!!!! What a mess with the car! I hope that they can figure it out. My mom's CRV was doing the same thing, something was draining the battery. I don't know what/if it is fixed, but I know she had it into the Honda dealership a lot.
Laundry- I still throw all of our clothes in together, we have a front loader so it make sense to do one bigger load a day rather than have the kids do small ones of their own. Scott's white work shirts end up with spaghetti sauce stains on them, and I felt like a mom from the 1950's the other day. I was so excited that I got the stains out. It kinda freaked me out!
I hope that today is a good car day for you, although I am sure you will be out walking everywhere! Thank you for the kind words, I don't feel strong some days so it is good to hear it.

Trudy! Hi sweetie! So happy that you are having a great time with the family! How did the tea leaves go?

Shar- hormones are the pits!!!!! TY for saying that your DD gets this way too. Makes me feel like I am not totally crazy.
Awww, Clara! Don't be a pill for Grandma! Scott would have to hold onto something- like a remote or a toy- when he first started standing. As soon as he realized it wasn't attached to anything, he would plop right down ha!!!
Happy Shopping and scrapping with Anna's new things. I have a few of her templates, and am finding that I can literally pull them to pieces and use them over and over again. It is fun! And a big thank you for the compliments on my latest LO of Cait too, it is a prime example of that-

Astrid- how are you doing? I can't remember what you said, but IIRC, you are not allowed water during your fast either? How are you holding up with the heat? Are you about halfway through the month?

Glad Jaida is giving you a break this morning, Chris. Sounds like a fun day ahead for you.

Yes. Hormones. One of the good things about getting old. I'm a much more mellow person now than when I was young. I seriously don't know why DH stuck around during my youthful emotional outbursts.

Just found out that a girlfriend of mine, who is an AWESOME garage-sale-r, has an outfit for the American Girl doll my DGD wants (Marisol), and some patterns. Now I just have to find a GREAT bargain on the doll! Dorothy says she finds *them* at garage sales sometimes too. Absolutely will not pay full price. WHY in the world is a doll priced that high? It seems immoral. =:O

DH is off to play golf this morning. I'm looking forward to more scrapping this morning after I get back from the pool.

Speaking of which...time to get into the suit!

Yes Chris no water or anything else which reach the stomach. I´m doing good I love the month of fast. I change my daily routine and do most of the work at night *lool*. As I have holidays I can sleep till noon and I stay up till 3.30 am . We can eat till 3.30 am. so it´s not that we eat and drink less than normal, the times WHEN we eat and drink changed. This is why nobody lose weight during Ramadan:heh:

Chris, I'm so glad you brought up the topic of toys the other day. The doll I got on eBay for my daughter arrived today. She texted, "Patty is home." I burst our crying and am crying again. This made my month! I also found a custom-made dress for her, and it will arrive in 2 or 3 weeks. Bonus: Her 9-year-old daughter loves Patty too. Zanna said she could play with her if she was gentle. :')
