Daily Ooo's: Friday, January 8

I am going to make this really short- I am having a hard time thinking of anything good to say. One sliver of good is that today is my mom's b-day. But the flip side of that is that I am not going to get to see her. We should be doing something together and it breaks my heart that I can't. I wonder when/if we will ever get to have bagels with the family again.
I slept a bit better until 2 and then the dogs had me up twice and I had a difficult time getting back to sleep. I feel like everything is harder to cope with when I am so tired.

I am going to write some quick personals and then -- I don't even know...
Awesome news on a side note-- the furnace coils are working again so we have hot water! My shower was amazing

Trudy- it is utterly heartbreaking what is happening and seeing the photos of the mob destroying our Capital buildings, news of a police office dying last night, reporters sharing stories of how they were threatened by rioters as "fake news" -I have no words. Right now, I don't feel like I have a happy place but I am glad that I am here, at the O.
I am very happy to read about your visit with your sisters and reconnecting and celebrating together!
My dad has registered for the vax and is just waiting to be contacted for an appt. Great news about your sister getting hers!

Kay- did you have a better day getting stuff done yesterday at least? I hope that some time off here will be good for you, although I think this is your DH's anniversary? If so, I am sending lots of love to you, thinking of you and your family xoxoxo

Felis- you were very busy downloading stuff! Glad that it all worked out.
I like packing away the ornaments myself too- and for the same reasons. Gary would just dump them all into one box where I like to put them back in their original packaging. I hope you have some good music to keep you company. :music:

Morning ladies... I really can't tell what it is like outside this morning, its too darn black out there LOL. I had a pretty fair sleep, only woke up three or four times and tossed and turned a bit, but fell back to sleep and got out of bed at 7am. Today I have my lap swimming and then I pick up my grocery order, then home to have lunch with my DH. We will be ordering pizza tonight for supper, I will only have the toppings of course. I really need to get more strict with my Keto as I continue to slowly put on the weight again and I do not want to be that heavy person again ever!!!! So back to basics. How fun that all the winners have been chosen for the 12 Days of Christmas Event! There will be lots of fun shopping going on in the next while!

Chris - I am so sorry that you will not be able to see your Mom for her Birthday! Dam Covid!! I am sending you virtual hugs :hug: my friend, it sure is crazy world we are living in! Perhaps things will finally start to improve by the end of January! This year is not starting off the way we had all hoped it would!

Kay - Sending you gentle virtual hugs also! :hug: I hope that you managed to get all of your laundry done and that you spend today in quiet reflection!

Felis -Congrats on your win here at the O! I hope you find something that you really want when you are shopping! You have been one busy gal with all of the downloading that you have been doing!

Well I need another cup of coffee and then will get my swim gear ready. Oh I got the painting done yesterday, so not my colours, but then its not for me is it LOL. I will show photos when it is dry. Still waiting for the client to get back to me, sure hope she is happy with it because I am not doing it again!! Have a great day today everyone! Busy working day for me, and I hadn't said that for so long that I'm happy to do it!
Honestly I would raterly prefer to be just a housewife, but I live in wrong era I guess :tongue: . I got used to this lockdown routine and now I'm so slow and uncoordinated. But hopefully quickly will be able to get back at right rhythm!
Hmm, obviously it was boring day, and I was sketched some ideas to make this post more funny with some of the typicaly for me jokes about marriage of convenience and Influence peddling, but it's just not seems right at day like today.

Trudy, I'm so happy for my reward, and if I'm got it right it's for FOXIESQUIRRELL which is one of my favorite designers! I'm curious to see the painting, and so proud of you for going out of your comfort zone and exploring untypical colors! Oh, it's too early for worrying about weight, I start this at the end of the spring :roll: .

Chris, I'm sorry that you will not be with your mom on her bday! Happy birthday and best wishes to her! It's simple fact that everything is more difficult and annoying when you can't get enough sleep.
You knows me well I don't do anything without soundtrack. As Sia's is one of my favorite Christmas albums, without any certain reason I chose opposite direction and her most depressing album called "Some People Have Real Problems", with verses as: "Death by crying doesn't exist, through The headaches feel a bit like it."
When something circle in your emotional system music is the cure to get it out of it, to get rid of it! And I'm not saying this for myself! :horn:
