Happy Friday! We made it! :whoo:

And again, today I am happy that the world didn't blow up because in the words of DT, "nuclear holocaust would be like no other." Good news we're all still here.

I really did take it easy yesterday. I kind of had no choice, since I was hobbling around. Pain is better today, it is now wrapping around to the front of my hip which is exactly what happened last time. It will interesting to see if in a few days, the pain goes away but the skin still hurts again. That stuck around a long time. I also showed Gary my tendon on my ankle. It looks like I have 2 separate ankle bones, one on top of the other. Ick! While we were watching Bones last night, I joked to him that if I ever had an autopsy, the coroner would think that I was a 100 yo day laborer who had been in battles for years and years. :fish:



Today I am going to try and take it easy again. I have to catch up on a few things around the house. Then I think I might try to do some scrapping. I scrapped a LO for a party that the O just "might" be happing next month, but there is always more to work on. :gossip:
I have a coupon for a free 8x8 at Shutterfly that expires soon and I need to make Christopher's birthday album for May. When he turns 6. :faint:

Nancy- ouch on all of the car repairs! How nice to have the car detailed as well, bet it feels like new! That was really sweet of your friend and her DD to take you to dinner for your birthday.
How was the game?

Rae- oh no... so sorry to hear about your DD's situation. I hope that she can rest and then reassess where the marriage is at and what is best for her.
Oh no about Bailey too!! Is it her mom that is moving in with you? I hope that she is able to get back into treatment. Addiction is just terrifying.

I guess that I am "old school" too and enjoy the surprise when babies are born to find out the sex. I didn't find out for either one of mine even though I "knew." I probably shared this story before, but when I was in the hospital for pre-term labor with Cait and they were prepping us with the idea that I might have the baby that night (I didn't ) I was hysterical, not so much that I would have the baby early but that I didn't have a boy's name picked out. I always knew that I was going to have a Scott and a Caitlyn- since high school. I have so many U/S's after that and Gary wanted to know but I was adamant that if I was the one going through labor, I wanted the surprise LOL
So if it is a girl, will Mason want her to be "Roara Mason?"

Sharon- That is so cool about your DD on set, what scenes was she in?
My car is a Saturn and while it has relatively low miles ~85K, you can't get parts anymore so they have to rig stuff up with makes it $$.

good morning - took Luther to doggie day care as I am having a my hair cut and colored and then I am going shopping. I need lots of stuff that I have been putting off. After a while you just have to bite the bullet. My sheets are starting to wear really thin and towels too. LOL. I have to get all my new Medicare stuff set up for prescriptions and payments and what a pain but it will be done! Have to get refills for dog medicine. So lots of driving but yea as I will have fun new stuff and a new cut and color. I am saving the worst until last as my Devils did not have a good game, they were shut out 3-0. The last two goals were in the final minutes. There was no energy, no urgency from the team that supposedly wants to make the play-offs. My youngest son went with me and said he cannot go back as he has only been to games where the team loses. I laughed.

Chris so glad that you had a calm day! Glad today will be just the calm again. Looking forward for sure to the warm weather this weekend. Snow will be gone soon! My guys are looking forward to a 3 day weekend.

Trudy glad you are seeing the sun. We are too! Makes me happier! I did not like surprises and wanted to know with my second if I was having a boy or girl. Made it easy on finding names.

Rae I am so sorry about your daughter and her troubles. That is so sad! You are a good mom with all the support. And really sad about Bailey. She was making such progress.

Sharon that is so cool about your daughter as an extra. Bet it was so interesting!

Happy Friday ladies... Well so much for the sunshine we are back to rain showers today. Yesterday was a good one I enjoyed a quiet time mostly painting and now just need to put a few finishing touches on my seascape that I worked on. It was fun to do and I will post a pic when its done. Today I am going to try to get a page or two done, but it seems lately that something else always comes up and takes me away from it.

Chris - I am happy that the world did not blow up too!! :boom: I have way too much to do and no time for that kind of nonsense!! :becky: Sure hope that the pain you are experiencing disappears for you very soon! That is so weird about your tendon on your ankle!! Yuck!! I will have to ask Mason if he will name the baby Roara if its a girl LOL He is quite adamant that it will be a boy though! What a kid!! Yesterday they sent me a video of him and his Dad singing happy birthday and bringing a little cake to Mommy. So cute!! Breaks my heart that I can not be with her for those special days!

Nancy - Wow sounds like a very busy day for you today! Good idea to take Luther to doggie day care, he will be loving being with all the other dogs today! Sorry that your Devils did not have any get up and go last game, hopefully they will smarten up for the next one! Have fun getting your new cut an colour today!

Sharon - so cool that your DD was on set as an extra, I would love to do that!

Rae - Hoping that things are going good for your daughter's moving in and sending you and your whole family lots of good thoughts and love for everything to improve in their lives! :hug:

Good morning, ladies. Things are going to be a bit hectic around here for while. We will be ajdusting to my daughter living here for a number of months until she gets back on her feet and we've never had a cat here before so Taz is going crazy, wanting to play, so we have to keep them separated at this point b/c I don't want the cat to swipe and hurt Taz as he runs at her 100 mph. Last night the cat (Noel) was in her crate and her and Taz touched noses thru the grill LOL.

So, if I disappear for short periods of time, you'll know why. I'm dealing with family stuff here. But, I am optimistic that she can build a new life and be happier.

I am just getting on. We spent the day decorating purses for DD Mardi Gras Float. Both DD were with me and we had a great time. DS and DH want to play a game on the X box with a friend so they both went and bought the X box to play. They are having a great time!!! I am so happy!

Tomorrow we are having a crawfish boil with the family. Can't wait. I will be a bit scarse in the coming week because of Mardi Gras.
