It is a beautiful day for a garage sale! It would be a more beautiful day at the beach but I guess the sale is what I will have to do.

I was running almost the entire day yesterday. W did fine at the vet and then I was off to clean. Spent the afternoon finishing boxing up the last of my junk and packed up the car. I have soooo much more stuff than I thought that I did. I really do not want to have to bring anything back inside. The family was incredibly impressed at how (one section) the attic is cleared out.
I need to get myself together quickly this morning and I have to figure out what to do about Caitlyn's tuition. She needs to pay the balance soon and the one bank is taking forever to verify her savings acount in the other bank so she can do that. I think it is due Sept 1st which is next week. :faint:

Love you all!

Nancy- wow, you just get back into the swing of things after vacation. I am the same as you with deleting things. It feels good to "declutter" the hard drive, but it is agonizing at the same time. Hope that DS is better today.
My kids go back on the 5th. Scott realized that next week is the last full week of the summer break and kinda freaked up. Then it sank into my head and then *I* flipped out too!

Amanda- hahah!! That is the story of my life! I walk around in circles most days trying to figure what I need to do and end up doing nothing. Hope that today is better for you.

good morning - the sun is shining and it is going to be a beautiful day! Luther is sleeping after his morning walk. My DH is coughing and feels terrible but still has to gone into work. Feel really bad for him but glad he is taking his cough outside LOL. Getting my photos loaded to Flickr and I created my first group so all of the family on the trip can upload photos for us all to share and see. I had forgotten how time consuming it is. But the one nice thing is that some one on Flickr is favoriting some of my photos. What a nice thing. I hopefully will finish today.

Chris good luck with the garage sale. Yes it would be better at the beach but still you will be in the sun! How sad that this is just about the only weekend this summer that both days will be awesome. Next week a heat wave! Good luck with Cait and the tuition! Hope the bank gets it act together!

Amanda yes I think all of us have those days. But maybe sometimes they are necessary LOL.

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Have had a busy week. Taz hasn't gotten in as much walking as usual so I hope to get out more on the weekend with him even though it will be raining a lot. He won't care. We are hoping the rain holds off tomorrow morning as D is scheduled to go skydiving with his buddies. We have to call and check in the morning if it needs to be rescheduled. Hope not. He is really excited about going. The hospital is having a big mtg today about B. The minstry of health and our MLA got the hospital off their butts and they are trying to figure out what to do with her. They may have really messed her up badly we just found out. The last round of once a week every month IV drug wasn't given and it was due to be given about 2 wks ago. That is probably why we have seen her slowly getting worse these last few wks. The really bad news is that the drug is thousands of dollars that none of us have but they had gotten lifetime funding for it thru the MLA/hospital advocates, etc. This had never been granted before but there was a caveate. It was a once in a lifetime thing. If treatment is deemed stoppable at any point by the hospital, then they would not be able to fund it again in the future. So, by missing her treatment, they very well may have gotten her kicked out of this grant and she will then need to be put on a cheaper drug that isn't as effective, has lots of side effects and will greatly damage her organs and probably shorten her lifespan. We are just sick about it. So today is a big day for the mtg and then Jen will start fighting about treatment again. Poor B, it breaks my heart. We were nervous about this grant b/c the head of neuro said it is so expensive for the government and they don't like to give it if there is any way to do without and the only way to do that is to not give it and see what happens. We explained that that would negate her grant funding for it but he said they probably wouldn't stop it then....but looks like they did, to save the government a bit of money.

So, once again, good thoughts, prayers, anything.....send them B's way please. Its been almost six months now and we need this poor girl to have some help.

So that's the update, sad as it is. Hope there is better news next week. I've not been scrapping and don't really care at this point. I will work on my 52 inspirations challenge for next month but that's about all I can handle at this point. I am trying to become more enthused about taking photos. It's something I can do with B in her room, taking photos of each other and when I take photos of Taz, food and our neighborhood she is very excited to see them. I am selling off a lot of my Nikon equipment and will be buying a smaller mirrorless system. I am loving my fuji x100F for personal candid shots, so easy to use and takes great photos and weighs so little. So I am excited to buy the newest dslr-like mirrorless they have and a few lenses for it. It is about half the weight of my d800 and smaller and will be so much easier for me to carry around. Hopefully I will get it in the next week so I have a few wks to figure it all out before shooting a wedding in mid Sept. I'll still have my newest Nikon to use for the wedding too (my D500 which is awesome for wildlife shooting so am not giving that one up) so there's not too much pressure about learning and using the new system if I'm not ready.

So thats what is going on with me lately. I'm enjoying more time reading lately. We got B an e-reader and loaded it with tons of books so hopefully she will use it but if not, it wasn't a huge purchase, it is worth a try.

Chris - good luck with the garage sale. I just don't seem to be able to find the time to get stuff ready for a garage sale here. Hopefully next month it'll happen. We need to declutter and get the basement cleaned out.

Nancy - loading, sorting, organizing, editing etc all takes so much time doesn't it? I keep trying to streamline my process as I don't have the free time I used to. I decided to load my fuji candids in flickr. I hadn't used it in a long time but I think I might start to. They got bought out by smugmug (where I am a member) so it'll be interesting to see what they might implement over the upcoming months.

I'm getting to work now. Hope you all have a great day. Here's a shot of Taz sleeping this morning (he is not a morning dog LOL). Its one I loaded to Flickr.

Pfuu, what a week it was very stressful! We had to deal with the sickness of two of my pets. Fortunately this is from the cases when medicine really helps, so I hope everything is behind our back now! Dad also hurt his hand, not seriously as for the surgery, but still enough painful. My cell phone is broken and given for fix, which mean I don't have camera right now. And some other little troubles. But everything is alright now.
Here are my personals about the whole week, I really missed you girls!Next week I'll be back to the normal!

Chris, I hope the garage sale was successful for you! Did you find solution for Caitlyn's tuition? I strongly hope that just the shorter days making you tired and not Lyme, too! I find myself very lazy to, do really hope it's because of the seasons change!

Rae, fingers crossed, good vibes and everything else, that you finally will have some good news about B situation!!! It's really piss off how the bureaucracy treats patients as a piece of meat, instead of personality which is worth it these stupid moneys!!! Better to stop here, because I go very mad and sad at the same time!
Taz is such a sweetie, send kisses to him!

Nancy, oh the Shadow's reactions when you take her back home is so sweet (and usual)! Isn't funny when they start to tells us some story and become more and more excited, but actually we don't understand it at all. Irony is that is supposed humans to be more intelligent, but cats learn some basic words from our language, till we can't from their (with exception of the body language of course)?! Yes, organisation of all photos is probably the most annoying part, because of the time consuming, but necessary for the good results after that. Did you start already your album? Can you give me the link to your Flickr, if you don't mind of course, I'd love to see your photos!!! I'm actually never been on Flickr, only Instagram.

Jean, where are you girl?! Your silence starts worry me!

Trudy, , I often imagine you how have fun with the kids! On your place I'll encourage them to be very noisy just to give lesson to your bad neighbours ;) , but this is just me. I'm sure you have lovely time!

Amanda (for Thursday's post) I found making of list really helpful to load my pressure when have to multitasking.

Nana Linda (for Wednesday's post) welcome back to scraping! I hope we will see you in chatting too! I have this bitter experience with really deep depression and can to guarantee you that some day life will become brighter again. Of course the pain from the loss of beloved never change, but we just learn how to live with it in the room of our hearts.
