I promise I am not going to go on and on about how we are halfway through August. Nope, not gonna do it. :tape:

Some good news from the Faery Household- Gary is feeling a bit better. The brain function is calming down which is such a relief for both of us. He cooked his delicious caramelized onion and garlic pasta for dinner last night. Yum! And the four of us watched The Half-Blood Prince which means we are down to our last two HP movies.
A little bit of trivia: Caitlyn was wondering why Ron and Hermione were wearing horizontal stripes in just about every scene. She googled it and it is because Daniel Radcliffe was much shorter than the rest of the cast, so they used the horizontal strips to make everyone else look shorter. You can also see that in a lot of the scenes, he is a few steps in front of them giving the perspective of being the same height.

I have nothing really happening today so I am going to try to get a bit more organized for the garage sale. I had dreamed the last 2 nights about not being ready. That is freaking crazy! So there is that, I have to pay a few more bills (yay) and figure out what I am making for dinner. I lead that *most* fascinating life! :p

Hope that your days are more fun-filled than mine

Rae- you must be so excited to get your new camera today. It sounds like it has some neat features. I have used some filter programs for making photos have film "characteristics" but how neat to be able to do that right as you shoot.
Caitlyn brushed W's teeth last night and she actually will sit decently for it. The other dogs want theirs brushed too until she actually puts the brush near their mouths. haha!!! I am going to have Gary put that movie on our List too.

Jean- The weather earlier this week had me in that kind of mood too. Tired and grumpy. It makes me nervous about the *whispers* upcoming cold weather.
I am sorry that DH's back is still bothering him. Is it the kind of pain that loosens up as he moves or the kind that gets worse the instant you move the wrong way? It is too hot for heat packs, even for me.
Next time we brush the dog's teeth I am going to have to make sure that I take some pics :pupkiss:

Felis- OMG! The image I have in my mind about you, the neighbor, the cats, the dog, the hen! Glad that the chicken tired out and you were able to get her safely home. I know what you mean about being out of shape. The walks that I go on with Cait and W (only about .5 miles) take everything out of me. Yesterday I wasn't sure if I was going to make it home. But I have to say, I am now in slightly better shape than I was when we first started.
I have been able to find some things to sell. Nothing exciting. But any $ I make is more than I have today.

Love to all of you!

Good morning, ladies. It's going to be a warm sunny day. Taz and I will enjoy our lunch time walk. I've got a busy work day and will be heading out later before dinner to pick up my camera. I'll be getting batteries charged and packing my camera bag tonight so I'll be ready to grab it and head out at 7:50 am tomorrow to go shoot the engagement session. Weather should be good, it'll be warm and dry. I'll bring my new camera along to get some test shots and play with it. It's mostly going to be good for landscape, photo-journalistic types of shots but I'll take a few b/w film simulation shots with it of the couple.

D is on call for work all wkend so I'll be spending time at the hospital with B by myself. I'm going to bring up a few scrapbook supplies and let her stamp a few things and ink edges, etc for cards. It'll be interesting to see how that goes.

Chris - glad that G is feeling better. Hope you get everything ready for the garage sale.

Hope everyone is well. I'm going to get going with my busy day.

Hello girls,
at Friday at my town was something as a small festival, with amusement park for the kids and famous singer had open concert. (I hope I'm explain it good!) It wasn't our kind of music, so we wasn't much interested, but we was out anyway. It was full with people in festive mood (and unfortunately many drunkards). My sis made note that something she hate at the small town is that everybody knows everyone. For one night we heard more gossip, than for whole previous week, and it's something that we definitely prefer to have a way to skip! I can't understand why people found it fun to exchange this kind of info. Except that it was nice summer evening. But weather became to go to autumn. But weather became to go to autumn. Tiny was with t-shirt, but she start to shiver at some moment later.

Chris, personally I don't mind your little notes how surprised you are from the date. I also feels like time fly faster for me than for others around me. When we discuss how many things they are do this week, I'm: "OK, when you do all that, I was mostly on work"?!
Hooray for improving of G! L O L, I never even thinking about this HP fact. It's looks me typical british style, they always have some pattern. I don't get it why you always worried for some organizing things?! If you skip this garage sale it isn't be end of the world. So take a break and get good sleep! It's good that you are found some stuffs to sell, anyway. Oh, yeah, the chicken run was very funny to watch it on the side with sure, but not for me! I realized our dog walks this summer are mostly at a dogs park, and will change this once when hottnes end.

Rae, have fun with the new camera! I can see why you are excited, sounds like great new camera! Hope B will like to handcrafting things! I saw girl with pink hair on a photo from one of the concerts and my first thought was that next year at this time this could be B!

Have a lovely weekend you all! :tea:
