Is it really April? Can someone on the East Coast please tell me that it is actually April? Someone, somewhere has something messed up because *I* think it has to be late February-early March. We have snow in the forecast for today, tomorrow, and now on Tuesday too.
Granted it won't be a lot of snow, maybe just snow showers, but darn it, the temps should be about 10* warmer. We will be in the mid to low 40's the next week.

Scott said yesterday that I looked exhausted and I am, but I think it is all weather related. (it has to be)

Are you done with me complaining about the weather yet?

Poor kids got some vet-bill shock yesterday. Floyd's blood work was very expensive but hopefully, it will point us in the right direction of how to take care of him. We will get the results today.

When we got home, we played Cranium, the game that we needed playdough for. It is a combination of Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit and Charades. I think. The kids won but Gary and I pulled closer than we expected. They were halfway around the board before we even got out of the first section;)

I have no plans today, I feel like I want to go back to bed. But I won't. I never do. I will just sit here and :blah:

My thoughts to you are full of sunshine even if I don't see any of that here.
xoxo

Trudy- blame the weather for your "laziness" (although you aren't lazy by a long shot) because that is what I am doing :pound:
I think that Floyd is lonely. He stays upstairs because he doesn't like W. And he hasn't ever been a sole cat before. It has to be strange for him. But nope, Not getting another cat...(really I am not)
How did the Little Man do at the dentist? Hope it wasn't too stressful for him or Heather.

Nancy- Congrats to your sister on the new job/raise and all that. I am really really jealous of her weather. I am staying off of FB for the most part since so many people are on vacation for Spring break. I can't handle looking at them in the sun!

I hope that I am not scaring everyone away with my crankiness. Can't say that i blame you if I am.

Love to all!

good morning - My Devils are in the playoffs and they did it by defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1. My team I swear and I don't usually don't swear but the refs called a tripping penalty on my team when it was my player that went down. And of course they scored the PPG. What a joke. But in the second period my team scored two goals. It was my third line vs theirs and it was awesome to see these two young players come through. It was like their first line and my first line were canceled out and my third line guys came through. I am still happy! Luckily I did not have to count on Trudy's Boston Bruins coming through as they lost to the Panthers. I am glad that my team did it on their own. The weather here sucks. It is rain and snow and cold even though not freezing. So today will be a relaxing day as I don't have to worry about my team making it any longer.

Chris we so deserve a perfect May and summer weather wise. I think I have played that game. It is fun. It is amazing how much going to the vet does cost. You would think it would be less than blood work for a human. I saw on the news this am that our new governor wants add to the budget free college for low income families. I would be willing for my taxes to go for that.

Trudy wow I sure hope that Mason's visit to the dentist went well - I really don't like dentists ever since having braces. But I do know it is so necessary. Hope you had a relaxing day with lots of scrapping!

Waving to Jean, Felis and Rae.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... It is misty foggy and chilly out there today. But at least its not :smow: Sorry all of you out East, but I hate the snow as much as you all do and so I really can't complain about the rain. April showers and all of that. Yesterday was a write off for doing any kind of scrapping. I was so busy on the phone and on the computer trying to get an order put in for my whole family for Norwex products. Everyone wanted to talk to me and explain the specials to them and of course just chat. It seems like I spent the entire day on the phone :blah: :blah: :blah: It is a complicated process to submit the order on line and get the discounts etc. I am still waiting for one person to finish off telling me what they want, then I can finally get the order done this morning. I had the strangest dream in the middle of the night last night... I dreamed that I heard Mr. Abu meowing for me and when I went to check it out it was him, but he was lying on the floor and was cut in half!! No blood or gross stuff coming out of him, just cut in half and he did not seem to be in pain. I bolted awake and wondered WTH was that all about??? I very rarely have nightmares and this one has me stumped. :noidea: Anyway on to more pleasant things this morning. I hope to facetime with Heather and Hunter today. Mason's appt went as expected, he needs the tooth extracted and they found a couple of small cavities. He eats way too much sugar and I hope that now his parents are realizing just how much he does eat! They are very good at making sure that he brushes well though and most of the time they let him brush and then they brush his teeth again, just to be sure its done well. So now they have to get him to the dr. to have a physical, so that they know he is ok to put under anaesthetic so that they can extract his bad tooth. Poor little guy, he will really hate the dentist after all of this!

Chris - I don't blame you one bit for complaining about your weather! I totally understand and would be there with you having a fit about the snow forecasts :gaah: When will the summer temps come?? Yes it is a shock to see how much the Vets bills will be especially for some simple things like bloodwork. One reason I do not have pets anymore, the cost of taking care of them is ridiculous! If I didn't have to spend so much money on going to see my DD every year, then perhaps I might have a change of heart. I hope that you feel motivated to do something other than going back to bed this morning.

Nancy - good thing you did not have to depend on our Bruins last night! It was a disappointing loss for sure, the officiating just as bad as what went on with your game last night. I swear the refs do their best to help some teams win! Glad that your Devils defeated those Leafs!! We did not want the Bruins to have to play them as one BIL is a huge Leafs fan and he never lets us forget if the Leafs defeat us LOL. Glad my DH is not like that and usually just keeps his opinions to himself. Hope you and Luther are enjoying a peaceful day today!

:hello: to Rae, Felis and Jean!! I hope you are all well!

Better grab a coffee before DD facetimes me. Hope to get out of the house today and get some groceries for supper tonight. DH wants homemade pizza and I have a great recipe for the crust that is Keto friendly. Looking forward to having that tonight! Oh and BTW our next door neighbour has his house for sale, he works in Vancouver and is never there, he is the best neighbour ever LOL. Too bad it wasn't the bad neighbour behind us though  Oh well it will be interesting to see how quickly it sells. Enjoy your day everyone!

Weather here also gloomy with possibilities of snow showers at times, but it is also the Indians home opener this afternoon and it shouldn't snow and maybe not even rain then. We'll be watching on TV. Tomorrow I'll be at the historical society for a genealogy seminar.

Chris, you might understand my week 13 LO of the daffodil that would not bloom https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=391012&title=week-13reluctant-spring&cat=all And in a bit I'm posting one on feeling blue related to weather that should be right up your alley. The daffodil bud finally opened a bit this week but had snow on it the next morning and seems to have wilted half open. That might describe us, wilted half into spring. Glad I have the birds to tell me it really is spring as they pay more attention to length of daylight than temperatures, or at least the ones that are here now like robins and cardinals.

Nancy, congrats on the Devils making the playoffs! Wishing them lots of good vibes in them. Same as to Chris about the weather.

Trudy, hope you've gotten everything settled and placed the order. All that talk on the phone might be good for making folks feel good even though it took up your time. Poor Mason with his teeth. Wishing him good vibes for getting through it all.

Felis, hope you've had a good day or at least a better one than some.

Rae, your new exercise routine will surely be helping you cope. Wishing all of your family well.

Hello girls,
our Easter is this weekend and you know what that mean: clean before and after and small fun between them. We was planned to mow the lawn today, so to prepare for garden party, but rain save me :) . I still feels this awful spring weariness. So maybe I wouldn't be active here next few days. Because waiting me grocery, eggs painting and ect. Don't worry I celebrate ;) . Some of you are saw already that I scraped this quote that Trudy was shows me. And I have idea for Easter page but will see when I will can to work on it.

Chris, I never ever be tired to read your posts! Even when my personal choice is to go back to bed. I hope you did it too and now feels better! I seriously doubt that Floyd could be lonely in house with so many humans and pets. Probably he is jealous, because feels unvalued. Cats needs really less attention than dogs, because they sleep most of the time, which make it easy to neglected them. Especially on age when they aren't so playful. Did he have his own time to be hugged till some of you read or watch tv?! Did he meow complaining and sad till is apathetic, or is noisy and cheeky? Good that you are made blood test, but that's mean you suspect something health issue, which worry me, please keep us updated!

Nancy, Hooray for the Devils in the playoffs!!! I guess you have to celebrate ;). Congrats to your sisters for the raise! Hope the change is not much stressful for her!

Trudy, such a strange nightmare. Be careful maybe he warn you that something will fall apart. Hope the new neighbour to be some nice persons. And homemade pizza is my favorite too, especially with more kind of cheeses! Poor Mason, he have why to be scared it's not easy appt. But I'm with Heather, too much sugar for every occasion, even I know how worse is that. :guilt:
I read your opinion for vet bills and I was wondering this. Sorry for this question, I tried to not ask because it's not my business, but I can resist, promise to not judge! So what will happen with Stormy after your soon move?! Do they give it to a friends or it's in shelter?! Obviously can not come to you, so what?!

Jean, sorry to hear that you have bad weather too! Your weekly page is so cool! This description looks like much as my this week, maybe I have to stole your idea for daffodil :) . Have fun on a genealogy seminar!

Rae, you are in my thoughts! Especially during the yoga :) . I'm just kidding, actually was till we listened to the rain. I was thinking about you and your 'little bird', which right now can't understand that her cage is necessary for now. Hope she have some progress!

OK, now I'll go to eat chocolate bunnies :) . Have a lovely weekend you all! :choclove
