Happy Friday and a Blessed Good Friday to all of you who commemorate this day.

Yesterday was another typical days for the Campbells. The dishwasher is now not working. Just like the washing machine and printer (and stove but shhhhh on that one), it works intermittently. Gary thinks it is the drain pump (also just like the washing machine a few months ago) and is going to try and replace it. Goodness knows that we can't afford a new dishwasher. With four people and numerous pets eating all day long, it is tough washing dishes by and. Doable for short periods of time but a PITA for long-term. BTDT and it gets messy.

I was pretty darn proud of myself for staying away from the news for the most part. For those of you not in the US, a report was made public about the investigation of DT and it was not good for him at all. Now it is up to Congress to make the next move.

The puzzle that we are working on right now might rival that dreaded Mickey Mouse puzzle with did in January. It has a lot more color in it, but the lines are all circular which makes it really hard to match pieces up.
I never did any dusting, maybe I will do some today.

Today, I am gonna drive!!! Just to the vet and library and Gary is coming with me too just in case...
Nancy, were you a bit nervous about driving the first time? My foot still feels a bit weak but so much better than it did on Monday. I am only going around town so I shouldn't have to worry about slamming on my brakes. Next week I want to visit my BFF so that with both country roads and highway driving so today will be a good dry run.

So that is it, hoping everyone has a wonderful day!

Jean- your blog is fabulous, I hadn't been to it before. #75 is so cool, bet it looks even more impressive IRL. I love all of the details and squiggles.
All of you O-Zies are so creative and talented, I am jealous!
Yes, the Harley puzzle is all curves and bright colors where the other was very soft and pretty. I still haven't asked Cait about her data. Must do that soon. :)

Kay- those were some crazy storms that you had and then the way the temps are going up and down and way up, is this normal at this time of year for you?
Hope that your day out and about was nice and that you didn't wear yourself out too much.

Felis- the weather here has been cloudy and drizzle a lot too, do you have the saying by you, "April Flowers bring May flowers?" We are surely getting all of the April showers.
I was never a big fan of flats. I have a couple of pairs of sandals that I wear on very rare occasions.

Trudy- sorry to hear that it is raining by you. Hopefully, you get some sun today or this weekend. Good for you enjoying the cake even if it wasn't good for the diet. You only get one birthday a year! The pedi color sounds pretty, you will have to wiggle your toes in the sun to get the sparkle!
Oh jeez- I would stick with the Nexium too if I were your Gary.

Karen- I don't feel so bad about my weather since it seems like *all* of us have rain.
Poor Joey! But at the same time, how cute he must look in a rain jacket!
what a fun vacation you have planned, it will be fun shopping with your friend.
What are reading now?

hugs!

Good morning ladies and Good Friday to you all! It is still sprinkling on and off here today and DH is home, but still in bed trying to catch a nap  he was awake very early and crawled back into bed after I got up. So I am listening to the new on my google home mini and heard that three World Renowned Climbers are missing and presumed dead. Climbing the Rockies this time of year is always a dangerous thing to do, so many Avalanches. I hope that they are able to locate them! Tried to do another painting yesterday and it was an Epic Fail, so will attempt it again today! At least I can reuse the canvas. Will have to get my Grocery shopping done today also as we will be at the In-Laws on Saturday, helping FIL cut and stack all the wood that he has gotten. MIL will be cooking the Easter dinner, so we will all be out of her kitchen and she will be happy LOL. Sunday DH and I will have a nice dinner together and hopefully we will facetime with the kids and grands. They will all be together at Heather's place for the weekend! They should have a wonderful time! Wish we could join them, but we would be bursting at the seams with that many people in Heather's little place!

Chris - Oh noooo not the dishwasher now!! Why is it always one thing after another?? We are still looking for a new wall oven, my Gary cut the lock off of the wall oven and so we can still use it and not worry about it locking my food inside LOL. I still don't trust it though and won't attempt anything like a turkey in it! So for now I just cook my zoodles in it. (low temp and short time) Anything else goes in my toaster oven. I have a nice big one that will even do a rotisserie chicken. Love it! The puzzle sounds like a real challenge, sure hope that you are able to get it done without going crazy!! Yay you get to drive again!! :car: that is wonderful news!! Good that your Gary is going with you though just in case! Also a good thing that you will not be hosting a huge Easter dinner with no dishwasher!! Hope your handy man can get it fixed for you! Here is a little bunny to make you smile and some Easter goodies too! Have a great weekend!

Jean - I just checked out your blog too and wowsers I love your drawings!! Especially #74 you are so talented my friend!!

Karen - Lucky you to be cruising the Rhine with your daughter!! Hope you have a great shopping trip and that you find just the right shoes!! It is important for all the walking you will be doing! Poor Joey, getting his tummy all wet! Hope you are enjoying your book!

Felis - I saw your sweet Easter page! So lovely!! Hopefully your weather is nicer for the weekend! We hope to see the sunshine return tomorrow and not have to stack wood in the pouring rain! :rain:

Well I better get dressed and get going with my day, I still need to make my list for groceries and perhaps go to one of the stores in town to look for something nice to wear for dinner on Saturday. I received some $$ from MIL and FIL for my birthday so I think that is what I will spend it on. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Rainy and gray here today, a good time to stay indoors to work on things for the computer genealogy meeting tomorrow. So far the Surface continues to work, so hopefully will get through my presentations then. Fingers crossed.

Art class teacher seemed to forget about paint crystals, maybe others aren't ready. I think I finished the class drawing and then started on a smaller one on deeply colored paper. You can see both on my blog (link in my sig.)

Chris, guess we are all having rainy weather. I'm not complaining as we haven't had quite as much precipitation as we could have. You'll enjoy it that yesterday we went and bought four rhododendrons to plant along the back of our yard. We'd been planning it, but finally got it done. Now DH has the big job of digging all those holes and getting them planted. It will be so nice. And good job that you get to drive. And soon to see BFF!

Kay, wow, sorry about the on/off power. Hope it's steady today. Computers and things (and us people) sure don't like that. Hope you're feeling well and ready to enjoy that Easter dinner.

Felis, I too am delighted with all the spring blooms, seemingly more every day. Our neighbor across the street is Orthodox so we know about the later celebrations though now with the kids grown and gone it is less obvious as they don't decorate as much.

Trudy, glad you had that lovely day with the sisters and got beautiful twinkle toes. And now your MG will have a long weekend home to keep you busy I guess.

Karen, hope your weather dried up so that poor little doggie doesn't have to wear his jacket. The clothes shopping and coming trip sound fabulous. I know you'll enjoy.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!

Yesterday I made it all the way to the mailbox [3 blocks away] then back to the house. Just didn't have the energy to run any errands. I hadn't picked up mail for 3 days but it was mainly junk mail. Turns out there wasn't much in the sale ads for the local produce market & grocery store so I am in no hurry to fight the crowds buying Easter stuff. I decided to do some on-line looking at house numbers/plaques before looking locally.

Chris, so sorry about the dishwasher... yeah, it always seems like several things quit in a short period of time. Hope Gary can get it running for you again. Good luck on your 1st driving since your surgery.

Yes, the up-downs in the weather and temps if fairly normal for here. Was looking at some photos this week and noted that we have had snow in April, then hot temps around Easter, then back to chilly weather again. Not complaining about the rain as our area is finally coming out of several years of drought. Just hate it when we lose power due to storms. The one coming in early next week is suppose to be stronger/last longer than the one this past week.

Jean... wow... got a look at your blog and so impressed with your art! You are very talented.

Trudy... had to LOL over your DH's temporary solution to your wall oven problem by cutting the lock! Glad that my oven doesn't lock on me like that. Wow... your toaster oven is big... nice to have as a backup.

Karen, I know you will love the Rhine trip. Hope you find a comfortable pair of shoes to wear for you trip.

DD#1 and the great-granddaughters came over to show me DD's new car. Metallic Blue - so very pretty! I am still in my PJs as I am still not feeling normal. Hope it is gone by Sunday... or I may stay home then.

Hey ladies. Hope all is well. Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a Happy Easter. I've got lots going on this wkend, will spend time with B tomorrow and spending Sunday at a family BBQ.

Chris - sorry to hear about the dishwasher, hope that G can fix it.

Trudy - sorry to hear you didn't like your last painting but at least you can re-use the canvas and create something else with it.

I've continued to scrap a lot more, having fun all my old kits and doing various challenges. I've gotten used to not being online half as much and its been good for me. I've become more productive in other ways.

I do enjoy popping in and hearing how you all are doing, so even when I'm not around, I'm thinking about you all and hope you all are well.

Til next time.....have a great day!

Such a lovely day! Sun was back for the afternoon and I was able to mowing a part. Then after work gone on improvised walk with my mom and Tiny to buy some strawberries, and it was a lovely time.
And the best part is that I won a t-shirt from one game I was join.

Karen, how exciting about the trip! Hmm, my dog actually don't mind the clothes, except if they had pants. Are you try different models?

Chris, pat on the back for your try to stay away from the news! Is that was upset you on Twitter? I was supposed it was the try to be burn church, as this was the only news which my mom was hear for US yesterday. It's good that the church case had a happy end! And I hope this situation to ends fair too!
I'm actually a little bit nervous about your driving too soon, but fingers crossed all to be fine!

Trudy, hope you will have a lovely time with your ILs! Heather is my personal hero, I admire this girl for many things, but to have energy to organise Easter party till have two little children is a big adventure. From where she gets all this energy? I also wish we could join them, sorry it's not possible this year!
Thank you so much for your compliments for my Easter page. And I do not remember if I already thanked you, but it's deserve repeat, your comment at the Vicki's thread, about my kittens page is soo lovely, thank you! Yes I know you also are big cat lover, I know you are exactly as my sister about that.
Oh, hope they to be able to save these climbers! Will be great Easter miracle.

Jean, I hope you was able to finished your presentation! Looks like the little Surface is fighter and want to stay :) . My mom have a friend which adore rhododendrons, she keep them in huge pots on her stairs landing, as she don't have yard, and shows them to everybody. Hope yours to be plant successful!

Kay, congrats for your DD's new car, wish her safety driving! Sorry to hear that you still not feels right! But hope this will not hinder you to meet with your son.

Rae, always nice to hear that you enjoying your hobbies! Have a lovely holidays with your family!

Where is Nancy?! Hmm she just now upload two gorgeous pages at the gallery  . It must be late in your area, so Good night!

I wish you all happy Easter time, or just fun weekend if you not celebrate!!!
