Brr. It is chilly in my house. I just finished my second mug of coffee which had me warmed up but now I am cold again. It is supposed to get warmer this afternoon, near 60* but my house notoriously stays cold.

I did find something to do yesterday. I started a puzzle that I was gifted by someone very sweet. It isn't easy to work on a puzzle sitting down but I did it for a while, took a break and then went back to it. Caitlyn helped for a bit and kept sending over pieces of what I was working on. That way I didn't have to keep getting up and down and that kept the family from yelling at me. A win-win if there ever was one. ;)

My mom is coming up to see me today and she is bringing a broccoli quiche for dinner. Yum! We plan on going out to lunch somewhere local which will be nice. I am stir-crazy. (If we went to a Chinese restaurant, would I be stir-fried? haha... I'll be here all week... )

HAGD!!!xoxo

Felis- the temp here is 45* and it feels much colder than that too. We actually put the heat up a degree from 66* to 67* just to get the chill out.
As to your spring cleaning question, I don't clean up my O-Gallery. I do clean up LOs on my computer, however. I delete psds of pages that were done for challenges that have no personal connection to me, then I save the rest in a Zip file. I'll delete the jpgs.
I have a hard time delegating which surprises no one. But Gary likes to help me and makes him feel needed so I try to ask for help when I can.

Nancy- How nice to get to take Luther for a walk and he is soooo good!! Bet it felt great to both of you to be outside. The timing seems perfect but keep in mind that a lot of schools are on break next week.
hope that you had fun watching hockey. (of course you did!)

Trudy- I guess your Gary's eye is doing well if he was able to do so much yard work. ;) The rain is good after getting the azalea in. Make sure you take pics when it blooms.

Kay- That sounds a lot like me, showering then right back into PJs. It really is crazy how temps can be so relative. 45* would have been downright heatwave 2 months ago, now I can't get warm.
I hope that you are feeling lots better today!

Karen- That is the worst-- trying to time a shower while waiting for a delivery/service. Joey sounds like a trip, sleeping on everything other than a dog bed. I think *all* dogs are a bit nuts LOL
What a special gift for your SIL- She must have loved seeing your pages.

Jean- how did the appt with Microsoft go? I hope that they were able to save your computer. Good for you for taking an art class- please share your work, I would love to see it!!

Better get some b-fast and my morning meds... ::grouphug

Alas the tech finally revived the Surface by literally pounding on it when other things failed. But that only lasted about 2 minutes until it went black screen again and has stayed that way. I'm so sad. My scrapbook stuff is on an EHD but I've gotten lazy backing up some of the rest of things, so some will wind up lost. And I'm lost without my constant companion. Currently working on my old laptop that does still work (mostly) but isn't at all the same.

Chris, how nice you got to work on that puzzle even if sitting down. Most people I talk to seem to do puzzles that way but I can't imagine it as we work standing and moving around. But with Cait's help, sounds like you have best of both. Here it was windy and warm but now some rain moved through and it's a bit cooler. Don't know what of that is coming your way. Heck with your thermostat I'd be freezing too. One of my friends has hers set at something like 75! And still complains of being cold.

Hope I'll feel more the thing soon (especially if I get a new Surface!)

Better days to all!

Hi, gals. Looks like several of us are late checking in here. Woke up early again - 4 AM... but I also went to sleep early at 8:30 PM. Stayed in PJs all day yesterday. Ended up reading/napping off and on so guess the body was making me rest whether I wanted to do or not.

Been playing around with some scrapping. Trying to get caught up on a few obligations now that I am feeling better. Yes... that is right ... I actually do feel much better today. Just a bit of a cough left but the throat is much improved. Good thing as I really need to go to the store for some bread and dinner rolls... plus some more fresh fruit. Finally got dressed so need to go while I still have some energy. Will try to check back in later today.

Good morning, ladies. Hope everyone is well. I've been busy with work, scrapping and household chores this wk. Today I'm packing up some old scrapbook supplies to take to a craft garage sale tomorrow. It's time to clean out my scrap room and get rid of supplies I'll never use.

Chris - are you walking around ok now? All recovered? Hope so.

I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I'm getting back to work now.

Since Joe finally got his stitches out I spent 2 hours washing and drying him. Washing means me in the shower with him as I cannot kneel down on my artificial knee. He is not a big fan of water so it is quite the ordeal. He goes all nuts and runs around the room after I towel dry him and let him loose. Oh joy, wet dog everywhere. Then I have to get down on the floor with the hairdrier and brush him. At least he rolls over nicely for that.

We went for a good long walk and he is currently flat out under the computer with his head sticking through the cables. I really must get a cable tray or one day my entire computer will be unplugged and on the floor.

Bright sunny day so I will be spending time outdoors doing something. I have no clue what though. lol
