:friday:

And more importantly, to me at least, is my orthopedist appt this afternoon. What I need from all of you is good thoughts.

:smiliesdoingwave:

Lots of them, please!!
I don't mind if the doctor says that my foot is going to be sore if I am on it, I just need to know that I won't rebreak it. Pain-shmain. That I can deal with.
Any good thoughts/prayers you have for my foot and my sanity are appreciated. :prettyplease:

I don't even want to get into what I did yesterday. SO BORED! I scrapped my AJ week 3 LO. Cooked dinner. That was it.
:thud:

Other than the appt, the same stuff is happening today. Nothing. :bawling:
(One more reason for hoping that I get good news today is that I started my Tindamax week yesterday. If I am feeling cranky *now* wait and see how happy I am in a few days. Pffffftttt!!!)

On that fantastically cheerful note (not), I am going to post this and work on personals. At least I can be happy for all of you.
Hugs!

I'm sure your doctor would say....."that's my girl!" :floorlaugh: :giggle4:
Ummm-- I'd hope that is what he would say. I fear it would havebeen closer to this :shakingsense:
:eek2: Hmmmmm....
I once tried mowing the lawn in my boot. To try to keep it clean and from grass stains I put a plastic bag over it.
Don't try that. (slip, slip......)
Oh no!! Thanks for the tip. That is one thing I was considering, using a plastic bag! Bad idea, eh? :oops2:

The stomach is iffy today. Mark wants to go to lunch, but I'm going to have to wait until 10 before I decide if I can put food on it! The headache is about the same as it was yesterday, just a nuisance!
Today's problem is the furnace.....heat is not kicking on! And it's only in the 40s outside!
Oh nooooooo........
Please tell me the furnace is working again!

@MariJ Do you use a Password Manager? I use LastPass and honestly couldn't live without it. But with Chrome, you can sync Passwords across devices. I don't have any idea about iPad/Apple products, but that could be one thing to look into if you haven't tried it yet. Good luck!

@BrightEyes I hope that you are feeling all better today.
Man, I wish you could send some of that warm weather here. It's *cold* again.
It is FIL's 91st birthday today
:birthday2: Happy birthday to FIL!

. Yesterdays hike was amazing!!
Yay!!! Sounds wonderful! Did you get any pics of the two of you together?
Yesterday was a good day but I am tired from it. Woke up with a headache and. tight shoulders. Hoping its not a cold but my stuffed nose says something is off. I am putting a lot of hope into my hot (okay warm) shower does the trick. Might need to sauna first.
Sending you hugs and a pot of coffee :coffeedrinker: I'd tell ya to take it easy but this would be you ~> :ignore1:
Or is that me?? Either way, we both should take it easy.
:hahano:
It's getting darker outside, forecast is for heavy rain tomorrow, starting later this afternoon. So I did my bike ride early and, oof, was it cold. I've already told myself winter is over and I don't need to be cold anymore so it was a shock. I seem to have a disconnect between looking at the temperature on the weather app and actually understanding what it means when I step outside
I hear you, it's the same here. When I saw the sun peek out a little yesterday, it looked like a beautiful spring day. Then I'd open the door to let the dogs out, and wow, it was cold.

The furnace had kicked the switch so Mark just had to hit the reset button!
Whew!!!!

Love and hugs, my friends!!

Morning, all. Surprise... I am up and dressed already!!1 dance3:banana2::banana3: The reason for the early start is: 1) the tummy settled down yesterday afternoon; 2) glanced at the library book sale sheet on the fridge... yes... today and tomorrow - 9 AM to 12PM - is the quarterly sale!!! Decided to do a trail run on being out and about...{plus I know where the bathroom is there .. just in case}. And... it is only 3 miles to the library... and it is 30 miles to the base.... just in case the tummy decides to act up again.
And... it will only be in the low-70's on Monday - instead of the mid-to-high 80's today. Much better for the groceries on the trip home. I only have 2 insulated bags... I plan on buying a couple more before summer gets here.

@faerywings - sending good thoughts winging your way... hope the doc says the foot is healed enough for you to do a bit more now. Slow and easy is the mantra, gal!! Wish you could send some of that rain our way and we could send the warmer weather your way.

Time to get the big Friends-of-library bag and my DVD inventory notebook ready... BBL

Oh no!! Thanks for the tip. That is one thing I was considering, using a plastic bag! Bad idea, eh? :oops2:
Yes! How did I know that you might think of that! Not only does the boot slide around in the bag, but the bag REALLY slid on the grass! And I used long, thin bags with not a lot of extra room around...

Sooooooooo.... I think not. :beatingheart:

Oh my goodness. How did I end up with 6 loads of laundry? Rainy day, inside with the washing machine going, and I have to finish up writing this darn grant application today. I am grouchy.

But at least last night I finished my 6th challenge layout for the month. And my friend from Delaware and I made plans to meet in the middle (that would be D.C.) for lunch on a Saturday in May. And I'll start packing this weekend for our trip to see the kids. So there's good going on, as well.

My friend who usually checks my mail is going on vacation the same time we are. How did we not coordinate our trips so we can check each other's mail. (Our post office is completely inept at Hold Mail orders.) I'll have to conscript middle school kid from across the street. She works for cookies.

And... there goes the buzzer on the dryer. Off to fold towels.

She works for cookies.
So do I....except I live too far away, LOL! ;)

Good Afternoon!
So, I did a thing today.......

AFTER
Avatar-4-11-25.jpg

And I am loving it! And Mark really likes it, too! The haircut sure got rid of a lot of the dark hair I had left, LOL! But, I'm OK with that! I've probably had long hair for the last time in my life!

No real plans for this afternoon. Mark and I are going out for a late lunch later after he gets back from the shop. He is working on house stuff and pit stuff. We are having a group over tomorrow. I'm fixing deviled eggs today and have pasta salad, chips, franks and brats. I'll be making chili for the dogs and chopping up onions. We will also have shredded cheese to go on the dogs. I think I will make some cookies, too, now that I have remembered I have a chocolate chip oatmeal mix on hand.

I'm finally up to date on my ATCs! Now to work on Jan, Feb, and March monthly review spreads!

It is raining cats and dogs here today! And is really chilly again! At least the furnace is working, Thank You, Lord!

Have a great day!

@AK_Tracy "Yesterday was a good day but I am tired from it. Woke up with a headache and. tight shoulders. Hoping its not a cold but my stuffed nose says something is off."
I woke up feeling almost the same way, but I was going through tissues like I should hang a pail on the end of nose. I did snot feel good all day so got very little accomplished. I hope you are feeling better today.I hope the sauna baked it out of you.

I hope your appointment went well.I spent months in a boot and they are zero fun.

Glad you are up and around and hopefully your morning went by without incident.
(Our post office is completely inept at Hold Mail orders.) I'll have to conscript middle school kid from across the street. She works for cookies.
Do you live in Pine Island? Sounds like our post office. My dad worked for the Post Office when I was growing up. I've said many times he's spinning in his grave over the joke it has become.

It was 45° when we went to the baseball game last night. Sweat pants, 2 sweatshirts, my goose down winter coat and mittens . I should have worn my sheepskin boots because my feet were cold. Today's forecast is sunny this afternoon, temps in the mid to upper 50's.Sky is totally gray, was 43° earlier this morning, it is 47° now, but it's only 11:50 a.m. Baseball tonight, away game so don't know if we'll go, 2 day volleyball tourney Sat + Sun, and baseball tomorrow too so we may split up the day tomorrow. I'm still in a not feeling too perky mood today. I think freezing at the track meet or the dust blowing there gave me a cold or flared up my allergies. Have a good weekend everyone.

I'm back... it was worth the trip to the DVD/Book sale at the library. Found a book by Dee Henderson "An Unfinished Death" that I have been wanting for several years!!! dance3 :cheer:dance4 Only $1, too!!! Also got 11 DVDs.... May end up going back again tomorrow as all the books/DVDs/Music CDs will all be half-price (from what they are today.... Depends on how I feel. Must admit that I am tired (not quite exhausted) so glad I didn't try to go to the base. Guess I need a few more days to recuperate.... <sigh> At least the tummy behaved so that part is good.

@vickyday :wow: I love the new haircut!!! I need to get my hair cut as it is as long as your first photo.... and I usually keep it as short as your new hair-do...

Going to get some lunch - then up-date my DVD inventory. And then take a nap.

Thanks, Kay! I am loving it! I can't imagine your hair being as long as mine was!
You always find the best deals at the DVD/Book sale at the library! I never did any good at our sales!
