It is here!!!! Let the holidays begin!
:partywine:

Is everyone ready? We are here, for the most part. Gary and I are waiting on one gift for Scott, and Scott and Cait have one gift that is delayed and they are really bummed b/c they paid extra for expedited shipping. There is still today so hopefully, we will have everything.
Poor Scott especially. He had 7 gifts from us and Santa. He knows about 3 of them, and the other one isn't here yet. One came in the mail the day he got the mail, the other was hidden in my bathroom (a plant) and he needed band-aids from there, and the last of them was something that Gary was building that he asked for.
Oh well, what can you do? Guess it is part of growing up. Cait and I were both saying this morning that we miss that time of believing in Santa.

I have to make this quick so I can finish getting the house sorted out and ready to go.

I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday, and that love and light may shine on you all!

Let me try for quick personals, since I say that I will and then end up :blabla:

Nancy- WTG Devils! Bet you look amazing with the hair cut and color

Rae- you win the award for the most done in a day! Hug Bailey for me. The holidays seem to bring out all sorts of anxiety for me too. Let her know that it is OK to feel that way and that this too shall pass. I am going to remind myself of that too.

Jean- I hope that the bird count gets better for you both. A nice simple night/day together with the man you love sounds like a wonderful way to spend the holiday.

Trudy- I am beyond happy for you that you get the have your kids with you!!! That is the best gift of all.

To everyone else who stops it, hugs and love!!!

good morning - rain yuck! I would much rather have snow! My Devils lost to the Penguins 4-1 but they did try so that was good. Now 3 days with no NHL but because I have NHL app I can watch any game I want so I have lots I can go back and watch LOL. I think I am ready with gifts so that is good. Today is just enjoy the day and hopefully take Luther out later when not raining. Tomorrow we will go to my son's for Christmas dinner so I will have to cook but that is easy.

Everyone have a great two days! Hugs and blessing to all!

Good morning, ladies. I've got a batch of cookies to get in the oven, dressing to prepare for the turkey, turkey is gettting a cold water bath for a few hours before it goes in the oven to completely thaw it out. I'll be wrapping gifts and cleaning the house. Busy morning ahead. Looking forward to a family night with a big turkey dinner. My bottle of wine is chilling. Luckily I don't need to leave the house today. It will be crazy busy out there, yesterday was just nuts trying to drive a 10 block radius around here. It took me an hour to drive what normally would take me about 12 minutes.

We got snow yesterday so have a fresh dusting of snow to make everything look pretty. We'll have snow on the ground for Xmas...yay! (anything but rain is good). I hope you all enjoy this Xmas Eve day and I'll pop in later today maybe but if not, MERRY XMAS to you all!

Happy celebrations to everyone!

It'll be a relaxed day for us, a dinner that's become our Christmas Eve standard then we wrap presents for each other and put them out to tantalize till morning. That's our tradition developed over many years.

Chris wishing you lots of stamina for the wonderful two-day celebration.

Nancy, love that you can still watch hockey. I know you, the family and Luther will have a wonderful time despite the weather.

Rae, as always you are so busy and going to have such a wonderful time.

Trudy, hope you got back to sleep and that MG is better. Wonderful that you're having Christmas with your kids.

And so, peace to all.

Merry Christmas - I am sitting listening to Christmas music and my DH and I just finished up with our preparations for the Christmas meal at my son's home later this afternoon. Yesterday was calm. Luther my DH and I all went for a late Christmas eve walk to see the lights and luminaries. Of course we met one of Luther's dog friend Stella. Too funny. It was in the 40s so not even cold! Luther has been out this am and while in the woods my DH says they saw a coyote. Freaking! But he saw Luther and bolted back into the woods. LOL. So today will be nice! Have a great day all!

Morning everyone!

It's been a busy two days, so far! Bowling and dinner last night (a Temple tradition), and today we are heading to the movies to see Rogue One. Then, it's back home for grilling steaks and exchanging Hanukkah gifts. (I'll definitely be doing a layout about that - I mean, it's 85 degrees here today!)

My sister comes down to visit tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to spending time with her and my niece. I hope everyone else has safe travels and visits this weekend!
