Sup-dee-duper-dee quick hello and good morning! Not only is catzilla loving all over me, i am trying to get into Stealth-Baking Mode. Every year since forever, I amke Gary homemade Scottish Shortbreads for Christmas. Since we aren't exchanging gifts this year, I need to make these for his stocking. in previous years I justmad ethem while he was at work. Now that he doesn't leave the house, its much harder. I have to get these in the oven before he wakes up.

I wil lbe back later to see how everyone is and if you are all having a great day.

xoxo!!!

Good morning ladies!! Time for :tea: I stopped at the Keurig before I stopped here :becky:

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a busy week!!!!!!! Why didn't someone remind me how busy things can REALLY REALLY get when you are caring for little ones fulltime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????

This was the last week of school before Christmas break. They are out for two weeks...go back Jan 3rd. I have finished Christams shopping for all my little kiddos.....I have to say....it's been soooooooooooooo long since I shopped for little girl toys (FIRST YEAR BOTH MY GIRLS ARE OLD ENOUGH FOR NON-BABY TOYS) and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!! My favorite gift this year are the little fairy (FAERY HEHE) costumes I got them...wings and all!! I CAN NOT WAIT TO DRESS THEM UP AND TAKE PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to do some baking for school parties, we went the RESCUE MISSION party at the school last night (collecting items for the rescue mission) they loved that. I also had two meetings this week about Jaiden and getting her into preschool. After all the testing they are pretty sure she will qualify, as the problems I told them we were having they are very sure she will benefit from going. I am very happy about this!!!

Today we are going to see Jacob (the oldest stepdaughter's oldest boy), our oldest grandson, play basketball...he is on a travel team and they are coming about 30 minutes from here to play.....this is a treat for us, since they live so far we can't see him play but about once a year!!!

Not sure about tomorrow yet...we have some things in mind...but nothing has been settled about plans for the day.

Okay...hopefully I will get back later....you guys have a fabulous weekend!!
MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL!!

At the beach, right on the beach, love the sound of the waves crashing. Just wish it were going to be warmer than 50 degrees today. Oh well. This will be another of this years adventures.

Well ... I've been on my way into the shower since I got up ... It's 3pm now. Hate to stress LOL

I've been meaning to do the Janssons Frestelse for Christmas today, but since I'm not in the shower yet, it might have to wait til tomorrow ... or next week ... depending on how fast I can get into the shower

I rented some movies yesterday (you can rent 3 movies for 3 days - perfect for Friday-Monday), so the plan is to watch a movie tonight. It will either be a Swedish one or Super 8, the third one (also a Swedish movie) we saw yesterday. Have some looker hooking pot holders to finish - Christmas gifts for mom and my sis. Other than that - scrapping, scrapping, scrapping :)

Quick hop in here to say Good Morning and then off to the airport to pick up my daughter and her boyfriend!! Hooray!!!! Poor little grandson is back in the hospital doing more tests on his lungs, not sure what is happening??? So worried for him and his mom and dad, send out some healing thoughts today for them please!! Not sure if they will be able to fly out to the West Coast for Christmas now. Just want Isaac to be well again!! I feel so helpless not being able to help!!

:smow: I can't believe it! We are doing our Christmas bird count today and after three hours in the unpredicted snow we've taken a break but it is still coming down. Sigh, why did our first real snow have to come this morning?

Still, it gives me a chance to visit here.

eeeeeeek!! i'm late. it's a busy, cranky day at out house. just finished cleaning up in the garage with hubby. he dropped a giant piece of tempered glass and it exploded everywhere. big fun. my blood pressure and blood sugar are way too high today.being annoyed is not good for a person....

hope everyone has a great weekend!

I lost my purse this am. Turns out i left it at a bar yesterday, fortunately someone turn.ed it in. The wedding was wonderful @the beach. No one told me that the misquitos are still out this time of year. I think i hve 20-30 bites!

Wow, time really got away from me yesterday. I baked 7? 8? different kinds of cookies and all but one batch were complicated. By the time I was done, it was dinner time.
I had the short breads in the oven when MMG woke up early, agh! But I was able to sneak them out of the oven and hid them in the bottom drawer of the oven to cool. Now they are in my supply closet ready to be wrapped. I hope that they don't end up smelling like essential oils LOL

I have 1-2 more kinds of cookies to make, but if I don't get to them.... c'est la vie.

Nana-- busy, I am sure! Not to mention probably very excited about Santa! You must get many, many pics of them in their faery costumes- this Auntie Faery will be happy to see them.
Good luck with Jaiden and Preschool, *fingers crossed for you* How is YMG holding up with this last week before C-mas?

Laurie- that was good news about someone returning your purse. Whew! Enjoy the vacation and the beach- just hearing the sound of the waves has to be nice.

Eva- I must learn how not to stress, you will teach me??? Hope the rest of your day was relaxing. We watched Harry Potter 7.1 last night. Even though I asked for HP 7.2 for Christmas, we put it on our Netflix queue and it came in yesterday. i hope to see that one maybe tomorrow. And I need to still watch Its a Wonderful Life! I need a pajama day and some blankets and for MMG not to be sitting in front of the tv watching football all day.... ;)

Trudy-- yay for your DD being home. And hugs for your little one still being so sick :( Good thoughts to him. Do they have any idea of what's going on with him?

Jean- eeeeew! I don't like snow, and it is too bad it couldn't have waited until you were done. boo hiss! Did you get any pictures though? I bet they would be beautiful!

Phyllis-- please let today be a better day for you!

I am need of some more :tea:, I have a big pot on and a plate of broken cookie crumbs, anyone want some?
:)

Well, I learnd to not stress the hard way. One morning I just couldn't get out of bed. Literally. There was no energy at all. DH had to call me in sick, I couldn't even get to the phone. Was home for months, and this was the start of my new life. Ended up diagnosed with ADD, and meds ... now I'm a happy person again, but I know I need to say no, and not do too much. This is one reason I'm a SAHM, but the main reason is that my son need me. We are one happy diagnosed family LOL

Morning taking our son to the airport. Coming back to enjoy the beach, say goodbies to the bride and groom. But the best is after lunch, Sally is driving over and I will get to meet her in real life!

Eva- BTDT, and yet I STILL fight life. *sheesh!*
Love your line about one happy diagnosed family-- same here!! LOL

Laurie-- OMG! Have a great time with Sally- you are going to LOVE her!!! Give her a huge hug from me!!!!

Wonderful time with Sally! Chris I gave her your hug. I counted my misquito bites I try hve between 28 -35 on my legs. Think I will be buying benedryl and cortisone cream. I have bruises crom scratching.
