HellooooO and happy weekend to everyone. It sure is getting to the end of the summer months, it feels very lazy. It feels lazy this morning since I am a bit worn out from the cleaning I did yesterday. I used to be really good about it and kept up with it so the house never got totally out of hand. The last year or so, I have struggled. Having three dogs and four adults make for a pretty big mess. Fur and doggie nose prints were everywhere. Dust and cobwebs. Yikes. Gary noticed that the kitchen sink is actually white  It is old and scratched and the iron in the water turns it brownish. I have to use bleach very sparingly since we have a septic tank. But I bleached the crap out of it this time and it hasn't been this gleaming white in a long, long time. Haha! I actually used Scrubbing Bubbles toilet bowl cleaner gel and it worked. I didn't even really have to scrub, I just used a sponge to make sure it got on all of the surfaces and rubbed a bit. I have to admit I was a tiny bit creeped out using toilet bowl cleaner in the kitchen sink, which is weird. But whatever works.

It was nice at the end of the day to have leftovers, a glass of wine, and some TV with Gary.

I have no plans today other than finish a few things that I didn't get to yesterday. If the sun comes out, I will do some yard work, and I really should work on a LO or two... I grabbed some more photos off of my SIL's FB page of my nephew on their vacation.

love to all!

Nancy- more of the Jersey Girls only here again. Keep the food/dinner ideas coming along. Maybe if I hear about what other people are eating, I will get inspired to cook something. Anything!
I saw the areas on Caitlyn's back yesterday- three huge welts. I wanted to kiss the boo-boos away. But being that I was barefoot and she had on boots with heels and towered over me, it felt odd :pound:She has known that she is allergic to nickel since she can't wear cheap jewelry, she didn't know how bad it was. But know that she knows she allergic to more things, she said that she feels itchy all of the time. ;)

Running behind already this morning. Trying to get caught up on pages that need to be done by Monday. Won't have time to work on them tomorrow due to church then family Barbecue in the afternoon.

Made it over to finical guy's place and hopefully we got all the paperwork done yesterday. Should know by Monday/Tuesday. Stopped off and got some more fruit/veggies/groceries on the way home. Indulged in a burger meal for lunch.

Grandson-in-law will be here soon to pick up stuff that needs to go to the dump. Will be glad to get the old garage door opener gone. He should be coming back later to pick up the antique desk/chair so it is where their stuff is for the movers next week. Once the desk is out of the MB, we will move my recumbent cycle where the desk was. Want to get it out from in front of the FR fireplace.

Chris... was LOL over you having to clear the cobwebs when your DD is gone due to her caring heart! I use Scrubbing bubbles in showers, etc. Haven't used it in the toilet - may give it a try. Glad your kitchen sink is looking so good now.

Gotta get my shower done and dressed before DGiL gets here. Have a good weekend.

Good late day! I had a good day yesterday with swimming wellness and not cooking. My son and I had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It was great! Today I am cooking. Got my new Blue Apron and it looks yummy for next week. I had a great swimming wellness today as I was the only one in the pool. How funny! I got my Picaboo Alaska album. OMgosh I am drooling at how good it looks. They did a fabulous job. I know they are my pages LOL but the difference of seeing them on my screen and seeing them printed at 12x12 is just amazing. I am so happy as I had these books printed for my girlfriends and I always hope the books will turn out. My girlfriend in got hers and she is so happy! Again that makes me so happy! So now I am just waiting for the prints from Persnickety to see if I will print out for the others in the group. Poor Luther did not want to walk again today but I totally understand it is so humid!

Chris it is so sweet when you kitchen is clean. I am sure scrubbing bubbles can be used everywhere LOL. Poor Cait I am sure she does feel itchy. The welts on her back cant help. I wish I could help with food but I am the pits. And yes it is the dogs days of summer when everything seems lazy! Except of course those parents with kids in school. And I have to say that I am so glad that I am not one of those parents any longer.

Kay a family BBQ how fun! Hope the weather cooperates. My sister says they are starting a heat wave in AZ. Glad you got your errands done. Good luck on the scrapping pages.

Have a great day all!

I am checking the weather this morning and I am unnerved a bit. We aren't supposed to get any rain until possibly Wednesday. When I was outside yesterday, everything is so dry. The groundcover I moved last week is not going to make it. I would be really hard to water it. I would have to drag water down to them and that isn't going to happen. Even the plants that are under the trees in the woods are drooping. That makes me feel really guilty as I am praying that the time we go down the shore it doesn't rain like it did the past several years.

Yesterday was mostly relaxing. I got to snuggle the rats with Cait and spent some time clipping back all of the dead flowers outside. The morning glories are looking great. I need to get a few packs of seeds for next year. The ones that I have are ones I gather before I pull down the vines so they are all cross-mixed to one basic color over the years.

I started a scrap page and would love to finish that up today. I like it so far. My nephew has been on vacation for the last week and my SIL has been posting a lot of pics on FB. I love being able to grab them to scrap. The ones I downloaded yesterday were of him reading in the Library of Congress. I didn't know that you could actually *read* there but there are pics of him on some bean bag chairs with a book. Live and learn ;)

My parents are coming up with bagels this morning. They want to see all of the kids before they go back to school. Other than that, I have a few loads of laundry to do. I also have a really busy week, lots of running around so I want to get ready for that. Dinners were horrible this week since I had no actual meals planned so that has to be a priority.

That is about it. I hope that everyone has a fantastic day! xoxo

Kay- Did you get all of your pages ready to go for Monday? Good to hear that your financial paperwork is ready to go. I hope that it works out timing-wise if we are starting to have an economic downturn. *fingers crossed that we don't*
Have a blast with the family today.
I was amazed at how well the toilet bowl cleaner worked in my sink. Since it is a gel formula, it didn't scratch or need scrubbing. Scrubbing Bubbles foam has always been my go-to tubs/showers, but now their bowl cleaner for my sink will make me a Bubbles Fan Forever! LOL

Nancy- did it feel weird being alone in the pool for your wellness class? What meals were in your BA pack for the week?
I am so happy that your book came out so well. Not surprised at that since the Los I saw it the Gallery were fabulous. But it really must make you feel so good to see and hold them in your hands.
You and me both, I am so happy that I don't have to do the back-to-school mad rush anymore. And the fighting with the kids to get them out of bed so they didn't miss the bus...

 to all of you!

good morning - was up early to go to the bathroom and then could not get back to sleep. Luther did not want to go for a walk and I don't blame him at all LOL. Got more scrapping done. And watched baseball. Not much on the agenda today.

Chris I cant believe it is dry up by you. We have had so much rain. Our plants and yard is overgrowing. The lawn mower got so hot it did not want to work any more yesterday. I hope you get some rain from storms but not the wind or lightning and thunder. Glad scrapping is going well. And of course you would have fun with the rats! Being alone was fun. You have the whole pool and not trying not to bump into others is good. But I do like the other ladies as they are fun to talk to.

Kay have a great time at the BBQ and church. You are very lucky to have family so close. Hope you have time to get your scrapping done!

Jean I thought when the Indians slaughter the Yankees on Thursday the Yankees were in trouble. But I sometimes think that a team has only so many runs for each series and if you use them in one game then you don't have them for the other games. The Indians look good and I love how they fight to the end. But I have to say the umps are a real drag to the games. I feel that the umps can throw a person out for disparaging remarks from the dugout but what goes on in the dugout is not part of the field of play and the umps should have a much thicker skin!

Waving to all! Have a great day!

It's a lovely morning but supposed to get hot this afternoon. During the night we had a noisy thunderstorm that seems to have freshened things well. Just before midnight we heard the screech owl again with a nearly full moon after not hearing it for a while. That was neat. Yesterday I drove down to Akron for a day-long seminar with a Jersey girl, Judy G. Russell, on Ethics in Genealogy. I didn't look forward to a nearly hour drive into a downtown, but on a Saturday it was pretty easy and I had a good time with friends and appreciated the four lectures very much. Good reminders and a few new thoughts. Judy is a great speaker with whom I had a week-long class a while back. She has a blog called The Legal Genealogist and on Sundays she discusses DNA.

Nancy, that Indians romp over the Yankees on Thursday was such fun, but not so much since. Today will be one of our best, Mike Clevinger, going against one of our former best in C.C. Sabathia (as long as he doesn't get thrown out again.) Being the only one for the pool must be strange though nice. I'm not sure we've had as much rain as you as some have been watering lately. Blue Apron always sounds wonderful when you discuss it.

Chris, what a pity the ground cover won't make it. Would be nice if you could get rain just at night. So when do the kids start back to school and what are they taking now? And, shudder, how close to the end are they? Nice that the FB pix of your nephew are out there for you to scrap. And last, hoping you'll have great weather for the trip to the shore.

Kay, I'm sure you'll be happily enjoying family at the BBQ today. Hope you got all those scraps done, but then you always come through.

Felis, hope your new week and plugging back in come soon! Miss you.
