Happy Weekend ladies! And omg, what a beautiful day we have. It is chilly ATM but sunny and no humidity.

Yesterday was pretty similar and I was happy to spend some time outside. Still working on building up the stone "barrier" along the road. I know it isn't going to be perfect but if it helps a bit that will make me happy. I need to bring up more compost to mix into the gritty soil but that will be maybe for tomorrow. Caitlyn, Gary, and I worked some more on the puzzle and we should be able to finish it this weekend. 2000 pieces in a week. Compare that to the 1000 piece Bermuda puzzle that I never finished after a month of trying. My puzzle confidence score is back up :D

My ILs invited us down for dinner tonight. My niece is going back to college on Monday so MIL thought it would be nice to get the grandkids together. My BIL and SIL aren't able to make it and Gary is not going either. But its all good. Should be a perfect evening on their deck.

That is my day, I don't want to be outside and get overtired. Maybe I can go out with a book instead and get some sun on my very pale feet!

xoxo!

Nancy -- what refuge did you go to? The app sounds perfect, maybe I should get it so I can figure which bird sounds like an MRI machine outside my window.
We watched Dead to Me a couple of months ago. We thought it was a comedy based on the short clip that Netflix shows. So *not* a comedy. Well, I take that back- it is a very dark comedy. very dark. Christina Applegate was phenomenal in it.
Bet by the time you read this your Alaska album is all done.

Felis- Wow, that is a long night's sleep, good for you! I am happy your mood is better now. Enjoy the music at full volume today.
Arlene's pool is only open to people who live in the town. My town has a little lake /beach that I used to take my kids to when they were little. Not as nice as the pool. I didn't know that you had PCO, I bet that doesn't help with the moods swings. :(

Love to all of you!

good late afternoon - we are having one of the best weekends of the year. Gorgeous weather and low humidity and temps in the 80s. Out early walking Luther. He was still a bit tired from doggie day care yesterday but he was happy to be out. All of us were. Still it feels a bit like fall with such low humidity. I don't want fall yet! Then did my swimming wellness. There were a lot more people in the pool for a Sat. Got my exercises done so that was great. I finished my Alaskan album but for the last page which gives a summary of the animals, birds and some plants we saw on the trip. Feels really good to have it done! Now comes the hard part the uploading and getting it in the correct order and hoping I have the correct number of pages. Then I have to do the same thing for last year's album. This is always the hardest part for me.

Chris this is a spectacular weekend with this weather! Have fun at the dinner! I bet the cousins love getting together. Congrats on the puzzle!

Felis congrats on sleeping and getting a reboot on life! Enjoy the music loud!

Have a great day!

I'm having that same wonderful weather! Nothing especial happening though.

Chris, good luck with outside whether working on the "wall" or reading and tanning those poor feet. Hope you're having fun with the ILs and all the "kids".

Nancy, congrats on finishing the Alaska album (almost). The pages have looked great and I'm in love with the ones from Resurrection Bay. Gorgeous pages and wonderful birds and orcas. If the refuge you went to recently was a favorite nearby, I'm guessing it was Brigantine. Whichever, hope it's in good shape and you saw lots of birds. It has been a long time since we've birded in New Jersey, but spent a lot of time there back when. Must be strange having Luther tired out from the previous day in doggie day care when he can be pretty rambunctious.

Felis, glad the long sleep did you some good. And I'm still here, just not very chatty. Last art class was Thursday but may start up again in late September. I started a new piece, but am most interested in working on the larger one I've got going. And thanks so much for posting a new p52/365 page! You inspired me to do something too. The idea of finishing what you start is one I always need to remember.

Hello girl,
it's so hot, definitely not pleasant for shopping, but it's not as to have choice . Actually it wasn't so painful I just dramatize :drama: . And now I hope to one lazy and quiet afternoon, with family time and coffee.

Jean, thank you again to join to me at p52! Also I wasn't checked Momma O challenge but now I'll do it too, thank you for reminds me! I'm so curious to see the big drawing when it's finished! Do you put them on the wall? My family don't put any paintings and even photos. I don't know why, but my mom don't like them. But I have few at the cat house.

Nancy, I also can feels the fall at the nights, but I definitely want it soon! Your Alaskan album is masterpiece! Thank you so much for sharing it with us! It's a pleasure to see this beautiful place through your camera, my favorite way to 'travel'! Enjoy to the good weather and your weekend!

Chris, this is strange. So they will tell you: "you can't join because you don't live here", WOW this is form of discrimination! The pool in my town is in very expensive club, so many friends go to the near town and used their bigger and cheaper club. Umm, I don't think PCOS affect emotions, not in my case with sure, just makes you looks ugly. I hope you had fun on the family diner! And also that was able to enjoy on lazy reading afternoon!

Kay, I hope that printer things going well!

Happy Sunday to you all. Sunny and chilly here again. I woke up with all the blankets pulled up.

Dinner at the ILs was a lot of fun. Both of my nieces were there and my one niece's boyfriend who we all like came along too. After dinner, Caitlyn had us playing a card game called "Mau." The rules are secret and there is no talking or asking about the rules. You have to keep playing to figure out what the rules are. A few of them were pretty easy to get but even after playing three rounds of it, I had no idea as to what most of them were. The winner of each round also gets to make a new rule to add to it but no one else knows what it is. The grandkids were having a blast busting on my ILs. Cait gets away with more teasing of them than I can imagine. If I talked to my grandparents that way-- I would have gotten smacked. A different world, a different set of rules. But the grandparents love it so it is all good.

Today will be quiet, not much to do besides getting ready for the week ahead. I am so angry with myself. I bought a pack of chicken and meant to wrap the pieces and freeze them and forgot to do it. I hope that it didn't go bad. Better to toss it out than eat it if it did.

I hope that you are having a fantastic day as well. xoxo

Nancy- the weather has been amazing! A little chilly for me if I am not in the sun but really gorgeous. Luther must be so happy. Thank you for sharing about your water therapy. I was telling my mom about it and she is very interested. She asked her PT who said that it would be something to consider in time.
I knew you would finish your Alaska book.;) ITA, uploading and arranging everything is the hardest and most annoying part.

Jean- I always seem to have fun with all of the kids. My nieces are so much like my guys. No idea where they get it from. heh. My SIL is a trip and while they are different, Gary and his brother are the same at their core. Made me so happy that when we drove home, Cait kept saying how much she loves our family.

Felis- feel free and dramatize as much as you like, I do that a lot too. :drama:
The pools/beaches are subsidized by each town's taxes so that is why they are open to townspeople only. There are plenty of privately owned places that are open to everyone so there are lots of options. I don't think you look ugly-- I LOVE seeing pics of you in your LOs- I think you are adorable!!

Kay- how did the printer work out?

good day! Well we got out early with Luther. What a gorgeous day and whoa it was chilly out there - the starting temp was 58. I still need summer. The books was uploaded but of course it was not easy but my son helped me figure it out. Turns out I had to tell my web browser that a website was trusted and turn off safe. But at least Picaboo knew this problem and gave a great how to do correct the interaction. But I have to say I also went to Shutterfly and when did they stop doing 10 x 10 albums. I am surprised. I also finished up reading a really good novel, Paradox. It was one of a series but even though it was a good stand alone too. Yes I like Dead to Me. The way the story wound until the end was way good. Yes it was Brigantine where we went birding. Saw lots of birds. And thank goodness the bugs were not too bad. You could actually get out of the car and not be bitten and also there was breeze so that kept them away.

Chris glad you had fun with the family! And yes the exercises in the pool are great! I hope she goes for it. My the PT guy is reluctant as the facility does not have a pool and he does not want to lose the client. You just feel so much lighter in the pool and you can do more I think because the resistance is all around you.

Jean have fun with the larger art work. Glad you got in a bit of scrapping. And yes Resurrection Bay was incredible. But really the whole trip was fantastic. Enjoy your nice weather.

To Chris, Jean and Felis thanks so much for the nice compliments on the pages.

Felis that is surprising not to have paintings or photos on the walls. Glad you have your cat house to display. I too like seeing you in your pages but I know how hard it is as I am not in many of my photos and pages either. I don't mind the dramatics either. In my town we have two city pools, the town has a maximum number of memberships for the summer and they go to towns people first. You can for more money get a membership if there are any left. Each town by us pretty much does the same thing. In fact most of the town beaches you have to pay to use them. I guess it helps pay for maintenance of the beaches, board walks and lifeguards.

Have a great day all!

Again perfect weather here (at least for me)! :D

Chris, that game sounds like total chaos! Must be fun though, I guess. You always have a good time with the kids, for sure. I think grandparents today are a whole different thing from an earlier time so that Cait's relationship with hers is probably part of that.

Felis, I can't possibly object to the drama queen :drama: thing because as a child my mother had a nickname for me of "Histrionica" for my histrionics. Hey, this is a place where we can really share. Just ask Chris. About my drawings, I framed a number a few years ago when a local group of us was exhibiting together. After that I hung a couple of favorites in the living room and later framed one for my DH that he has up in the tree house (it is guitar related). I have older pieces up too and other kinds of pictures as well. With the new surge of drawings, I've hung the "From Any Point" one (of shoes) in a spot we'd not rehung after painting the wall. Now I've framed "Dark Horse" but we can't find a place to put it. I even have bird photos of DH's in the bathrooms and nicer framed ones in the LR. So you can see I probably can't imagine NOT hanging things in the house. I also print an occasional scrap at 8x8 and put on the cabinet beside my computer. I'm sure that's too much detail, but you asked.

Nancy, are you sure about Shutterfly? I did a 10x10 book at the end of April and I still see that size on the website. If you read the Digi Scrap blurb it only mentions 12x12 and a non-square size, but it seems to still work for other sizes. Hope so as 10x10 is my favorite. Let us know how you like Picaboo as some people seem to favor them. I'd say that was nice not to be bothered by bugs at Brigantine!

And, Kay, hope your printer keeps going! Our ink jet one recently seems to have given out and we replaced it with an Epson. Much more basic I think than you were looking at, but so far so good.

Jean I rechecked Shutterfly and yes they have 10x10 still there. I don't know why last night it would not give me that choice. And I love Picaboo. I usually use Picaboo for my books that mean a lot but Shutterfly for ones that I want a different size. Thanks for making me look again.

Good morning girls,
oh yes after explanation about the swimming pools it's have much more sense to me. I'm actually watch this in "The middle" or was "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", not sure but was at family show, the difference between city pool and this in country club. Hm, I don't swim because deep scares me, so I'm not good informed about that. I think, but maybe I'm wrong, that here only towns with mineral water have their town pools, other have swim clubs or of course at hotels. It have something as a joke or city legend about woman that once a week rent room at hotel just to use their king size pool, but when her husband learned he never believe on this  . The beaches from other side are paid, because tourists left too many garbage and someone have to clean it. But the holder is forced to left the front line for free access to people who use only beach towel or mat. Here people believe that nature have to be for free, so for many years has beaches who was used as camps, and it was for free if you own van or tent. But they restricted it past few years, again because the local people are complaining from garbage that have to be cleaned with their taxes cover, so it's not much fair. I know only that summer is for beach!
Here we expect another extremely hot day and nothing interesting in it!

Chris, your family is so funny! Love how you're able to play games and have a lot of fun! I hope you not damaged that chicken pieces! If it's not looks good for human use you can double boiled it and give it to the dogs at least, but have to act quick!
Oh, and LOL don't believe on everything you see at my photos, there is photo shop and lot of beauty procedures before one shot to be approved for scraping. At least that's what I learned from the influencers at Instagram, not many people can just rise and shine.

Nancy, I hope you'll be satisfied from the quality of your photo book! But you sounds as familiar with Picaboo, so I think it will be.

Jean, this is lovely! And , no not too descriptive, I love to know! It must be wonderful to have house as an gallery! I love to imagine that.
