Yay for Saturday!!!!!!:humble:
Yesterday was such a blah-bummer-y kind of day. It was cold and rainy. And I didn't really feel well, so I got my 3 things done, and then didn't do much of anything.
I told Gary that I think I really need to try and work as much as I physically can this month b/c is is good for me to get out of the house and feel productive. When I am home, I feel like all I do is wander from room to room muttering to myself. I am like an old crazy lady, yannow? All I need is a bathrobe, slippers and a cat. Oh. Wait. I have all of those. ;)

Today (please don't yell at me!) I am going to steam clean my LR and bedroom. They haven't been done since before my surgery and I won't be able to get them done until after the radiation. But all I am doing are the parts that need to get done, not moving furniture or any of that. And that, my friends, will be my 3 things rolled into one.

After that I really need to get scrapping these pages for my little man's birthday book. I have a $20 off coupon for Shutterfly and I see that they have a sale on books that expires on the 9th. I am not sure if you can combine the codes or not, but maybe that will be some incentive for me to get moving on this.

Hope that all of you are relaxing this weekend! We have a sunny day and it should be warm, so its nice to see that spring is arriving!

hugs!

Y'all were very quiet in here yesterday.

Trudy- hope that you are having a wonderful weekend with your in-laws! Tell your FIL that I said Happy birthday too!Glad to hear that your tooth is feeling better too. I hear that wine helps take the pain away. :partywine

Laurie, that is great news about your PT! I hear that really makes a difference. my MIL had one who really man-handled her and it put her in so much more pain that she stopped going. The one she has been seeing recently is very very gentle.
Good luck!

So, where are the rest of you??????
:whip: Get in here!!!

:D

Morning Chris and the rest of the O fam! I bet everyone is outside enjoying that amazing thing called sun- although not shining here. I did first round of exercises already- can't believe how weak my right shoulder is. I am dressed and ready for dance practice. Hope to get outside and yard clean as well as scrap some today!

I know, I disappeared again... crazy life... Will has lacrosse practice 4 days a week, games on Saturdays and sometimes Monday and Tuesday and I'm just always running around. My scarves are selling which is good but I have a stash I need to get rid of... thankfully, I just sold 3 of my stash although I did get a special order for a purple one that I have to do today. So I've been busy to say the least!

Have changed my meds since I was here last... the other one was messing with my migraines... new one is working out well... court has been postponed again... psych evals are mostly done... they're still waiting on medical records for Will's inpatient visits. My ex's eval could be very helpful in preventing any custody changes... I think the most likely outcome is that nothing will changed, but considering his eval I'm hoping for full custody.

Hope everyone has a great day... me and the boys are off to see Captain America: Winter Soldier later today and my mom and sister are hanging out with Piper... should be a fun, but busy day LOL. Busy... the story of my life.

Chris - how are you doing? Did your surgery go well (I know I'm behind). I hope everything is going well... love ya!

good morning - somehow my Devils are still in the play off hunt. Last night they defeated the Capitals being down 3 forwards in the 3rd period. It was a nail biter 2-1 win. Now I am waiting to hear if any of those injured are going to be able to play today as my team plays tonight in Carolina. The sun is shining and I am going to get in a good walk before my hockey starts this afternoon. As Chris said yesterday was a raining day but on a great note I had my semi-annual blood pressure check and it is way lower than the last check so that made me really happy!

Chris glad you are feeling well enough to steam clean an glad that makes up all 3 on your list. Hopefully you will get outside.

Laurie so glad the PT is working.

Trudy have this weekend with the celebration.

Sandy you are busy but at least it seems that everything is going in the right direction! Glad your scarfs are selling.

Have a great day!

Morning ladies... just popping in quick to say Hi and hope that you all have a fabulous weekend!! I will probably have a headache and heartburn tomorrow morning LOL Self inflicted illness from too much food and wine!! :becky: But hope to have a wonderful time before all that other stuff!! Enjoy the day !!

Today is 24 years since I met my husband - and 20 years since we got married.

(So far we've celebrated by sitting by our computers LOL)

Early morning, heading to church, then breakfast, I am going outside in the sun as it will be over 50 and work in my back yard- maybe even the front- but I see the back out my kitchen window, so if I only do one- it will be the back!

Good morning the sun is shining and it should be a really nice day. I got in a really good walk yesterday and was almost blown home the wind was so strong. My DH made an awesome dinner so that was really nice. My Devils won again and are now only a point out of the play offs. It was another close game 2-1 win. Now today is just enjoy the outdoors and watch some hockey and get some scrapping done.

Hope everyone has a great day!

hey there, my O-zie-Os!
Swing your partner! Do-si-Do!

I have officially decided that we need a square dancing smilie :D

Did you enjoy your Saturday? I was really good, I steam cleaned and started a load of laundry but that was it. Not sure what my top 3 things for today will be. I am hoping for a walk with my friend, it looks wonderful outside! And Cait's BF's mom might be coming over for coffee. There is so much drama with the Crazy-Step-Father that I am hoping that if we can sit down and chat, maybe that will --- I don't even know what! Make it less likely that he is going to screw up their prom plans??

I have to keep scrapping too. I have to get this book done for Christopher. I know I am going to have a crazy week ahead as well. Radiation M-F, Lyme dr Thursday, hopefully appt with Social Worker, plus cleaning 2 days in between it all. Also-- add in some phone calls/fighting with ins co. my dr started me back on the IV, but at a lower dose. They are still screwing around about it so I don't know whether I should place another order and pay out of pocket for the meds or wait and see if I actually will get coverage.

So that is it from me, hope you all get to see some sunshine today!

Hey there, Laurie, hope that you get that shoulder back in the sroove! How was dancing?

Welcome back Sandra!!! Ugh, I wish things would calm down for you, it all sounds brutal. *fingers and toes are crossed for full custody for you*
And your scarves are beautiful! Hope that you sell them all!

I am doing ok. Surgery went perfect- all cancer is gone. Now I am off to radiation for the next 4 1/2 weeks. Lyme has been kind of crazy as well, but I am hanging in there.Thx for checking in!

Nancy-oooh, this must be so exciting for you- play-off countdown. Hope your Devils do great!
The weather is just so nice! The only draw back, is that I am not sure if I am getting a cold, or my allergies are kicking in. I have a stuffy nose, headache and sore throat, but I think I can blame it on stuff trying to grow, that makes it less annoying :)

Trudy- hope that you feel OK today, but it sounds like it will be worth it if you are not. Was the party a good time?

Happy Anniversary Eva! It sounds like how Gary and I "celebrated" Valentine's Day, shouting Happy Val. Day to each other once while on our computers.

Laurie, enjoy your yard work! We are still too wet and muddy to get anything done here, but just looking out the window and not seeing snow is wonderful!

Nancy- Yeah, it looked much warmer up here that in actually was, the wind was crazy. Go Devil's!

I haven't read to catch up yet. I'll do that in a minute. So...busy week. Lots of stuff going on at school. I had a big family event and what not. Ben started baseball, I had a meeting, a paper due, a summative due at school...

And then Matt got called to go to LA. His work had three big jobs coming in that they wanted him there for instead of working remote. For a bit that day, we were thinking he might have to go to Germany, so I'm glad it was just LA. But he had to leave in less than 24 hours and when he asked if he could book his return ticket for next weekend, they said, "Just get a one way ticket for now. We'll know more next week after the jobs come in." So, it was a busy week. Friday night, I rushed to get my paper done and turned in so that I could go drink wine with my friend while Ben and her son played.

After baseball yesterday, we ran some errands and got groceries and movies and then I sat my big bottom on the couch and did not much of anything. Today though...dishes, laundry, making some food for the week, running movies back and retrieving the cord Ben left at my friend's house on Friday night. Nothing horrible, but Ben gets bored with me and I hate that. :-) He did play with the neighbor kids for about an hour yesterday, but they can be a little annoying and he finally got fed up with them and came in to watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.

I know I won't have time for Daily Ooo's in the morning this week. But maybe after I put Ben to bed....if I'm not crashing myself by then. :-)

Ok...now to catch up with everyone.

Chris - How was the steam cleaning? LOL Did you get it done like you wanted? I bet some of what really sucks is not feeling up to doing what you want to do.

Laurie - How was dancing? I love dancing. I wish I could find the time to dance for a work out. I am not a morning person at all, and I am feeling too tired and busy by the end of the day. I saw a quotation the other day that said I wish I was as busy as I was when I previously thought I was busy. I can relate to that. LOL

Nancy - glad your blood pressure was good. My bottom number has been inching up, but I imagine it's because I'm not eating very well at the moment. My fault. I just need to plan ahead better. And I've gotten in the habit of relying on my work-from-home husband making good stuff for dinner because he is at home. Silly me.

Trudy - Too much food and wine was what I did Friday night. LOL I'm with you! Eva - your celebrations are like my husband and mine! Congratulations though!

Laurie - we were a tad chilly yesterday. (We had snow Friday morning.) The next three days are all low 60's and rainy. Then Wednesday we are getting up to 80! What the heck. Schizophrenic Mother Nature.

Sandra - I'm so glad to see you back. I am sorry for all the drama you have. Sending positive thoughts your way!
