The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Hello from Pennsylvania! I am feeling so less stressed even if I am still really exhausted. My mom and I were here by 4 pm and my dad had me sitting in the sofa by 5 with my glass of wine. I was in bed before 8 pm and slept until 7 this morning.

And that, my lOves, is why I am here. :)

I was able to get most of my medical stuff taken care of before I left. I was able to get the written report of my neck x-rays online (it looks a bit worse than I thought, moderate this and that, narrowing of this and that, but I'll have to see. I am very good at reading blood work results but I am not a "qualified" x-ray tech yet. Give me time. *wink*) and sent them to LLMD with my EKG. The dr she recommended only takes out of network
insurance coverage so I made an appt with the dr in the group that does take mine and I'll go from there.

Cardiologist went fine. He is having me go for a stress test and an echo-cardiogram. He didn't lecture me at all about Lyme, instead he said how Lyme can affect the heart. That was a big hurdle. I am so used to having Drs tell me that Late Stage/Chronic Lyme does't exist. Ugh.

Now I am all about relaxing. And eating. And wine!! :pound:

I hope that all of you have a relaxing weekend too! Love you!

Yeah, baby! I had to take a quick break to take some pictures of my dad feeding the deer matzoh. LOL

Trudy= how did the time with your sister go? Did you get a lot done? Fab job with the weight loss. I always gain weight in my butt and lose it in my boobs too. The one place I can't afford to lose an oz. My fingers and toes are crossed for a very successful year for her ahead.

Rae- How did you drs visit go? Hope that all of the tests say you are in perfect health. That is great that you were able to find the Lisa S book. The other one I am reading is Spring Fever. That one I can read while my mom is blabbering in the kitchen (it runs in the family) since it doesn't take as much attention to get through.

Hugs to all of you who stop in!

Morning O ladies!! Dull and grey out today, but so much running around to do I am sure that we won't mind the weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny so hopefully we will be out in garden doing some much needed weeding and I would also like to go to the Rhododendron show and sale too. We could use a few more of those on our side hill. Had a lovely FaceTime with Heather and Mason this morning. Mason is in swimming lessons on Saturday mornings and he doing well, still very shy about doing certain things but he will improve as the weeks go by! Nice that they are getting involved with activities for him! It gets everyone out of the house for a bit.

Chris - How great that you are all snuggled in at your parents place!! Your Dad is awesome for getting you situated and bringing you wine within the first hour of your arrival!! Sister and I got all the cleaning done in about 2 and 1/2 hours, we even got all the windows washed inside and out! But man there were a lot dead spiders everywhere and I hate spiders :spider: :fear: I was happy that I had the vacuum cleaner and just sucked them up the hose! The B&B has been closed up all winter so they move in when the weather is cold and wet then I guess there really isn't anything for them to eat so they eventually die. Ugh everything I moved had a dead spider behind it! They grow very large out here too so double yuck!!! But she was very happy to have all the cleaning done all the beds made and the place is ready for its first customers tomorrow. Glad that you got all the medical stuff out of the way before your trip, one less thing to stress you out! Enjoy your weekend, you deserve it!!

Rae - Let us know how your dr. visit went and please share your recipe for chinese food if you get one figured out! I miss that kind of stuff too, I am sure I could a stir fry, just not sure what to use for sauce?? There must be something out there. I have to make keto ketchup and tomato sauce sometime this weekend, its so good!! Hope that you have a lovely weekend!!

Ok I need to get showered and get ready to head out for groceries etc. I hope you all get to do something that makes you happy today!

Good morning, ladies. I'm working a lot this wkend but it's a tradeoff from not working a lot last wkend. I need to catch up and be ready for both doctors to be back at work on Monday. The week sure flew by (doesn't it always?). Today Darrell and his buddy will be installing a new Sirius radio and GPS in my car. The wiring for my radio has been corroding and cutting out service off and on for a few months now so it'll be nice to have a brand new radio installed that will have a clear signal. I miss listening to E entertainment.

Saw my GP yesterday and glad to hear my ECG was fine. But my cholesterol is high so he said he would normally immediately put someone on meds with these results but knowing that I have changed my lifestyle so much recently, he gave me 6 mths to see if the numbers come down. Hopefully they will b/c from everything I read, there can be a lot of side effects from statins. I really don't want meds. So, we'll see in 6 mths.

Chris - glad to hear you are relaxing and enjoying your visit. I started that book this morning and have gotten through quite a bit. It's a fast read and I'm enjoying it. I decided to read that first before Golden Son (Red Rising #2). Looking forward to seeing your photos.

Trudy - sounds like you got a lot done in a few hours. Can you come over here and clean my place??? I don't like clutter but am terrible at cleaning house. I procrastinate and never dust and vacuum when I should. I always have better things I'd rather do. Yes, for sure I will let you know when I find a recipe that is good. I might look for something different to try for dinner tonight. I'm thinking something that hubs can put in a wrap or taco shell. I have been eating salad every day so need a break from that. Maybe some sauteed greens/chinese cabbage or something. I think I'll head over to pinterest now and check it out before getting dressed and getting to work for the morning.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good morning, ladies. Had a great time last night hanging out with my hubs, catching up with some TV shows and then we finished up by watching Ironman which I'd never seen before and loved it (I am a huge R.Downey Jr fan), so now can't wait to see the next one.

I made a new dish for dinner and we liked it (Trudy...in my keto-dinner pinterest board). It was an easy asian sauce, tossed chicken and veggies in it and baked for 40 minutes. I will make this one again.

Chris - hope you are chillin' and having fun on your wkend visit with your parents. I've read about 1/4 of my book so far. I'm enjoying it. How about you?

Trudy, Nancy, Jean, Sharon....and everyone....hope you are enjoying the wkend.

I'm going to get started on some desk work and then back to tax stuff later. I hope you all have a great day.
