So what has everyone been up to? Summer vacation officially started for the kids yesterday...they all piled up here and we had a huge day of water play outdoors...and some very tired and cranky kids by the end of the day!! But it was fun!!

Today....cleaning a bit in the house, cleaning my car, and then some quiet time this evening...with steaks on the grill and a _____________ (fill in the blank with whatever you like) to sip on!! It will proabably be these yummy Sangria drinks I found a couple of weeks ago!!

Trudy..... :hug: and :kiss: I am so sorry about your camera!!! I know that is a scrappers nightmare!! Yikes on the cost...but it's like fixing the car...it HAS TO BE DONE!!! You need to come here and have some sunshine with me!!! we have loads of it!!

Laurie...Oh SWING BANDS!! I LOVE THEM!!! and WINERY TOURS...WOOT!!! sounds like a blast!!! LOTS OF PHOTOS PLEASE!!! and yay for the list and getting things done!!! It feels better when you write it all down and can mark it off...doesn't it??



 
Hey Nana Linda... I gues it's just you and me here today save some of that :partywine for me ok? By the way thanks for sending the sunshine my way, we have been sitting on the deck soaking it up and enjoying some beverages also. Hope you have a wonderful vacation, will you have your laptop with you so you can keep in touch?? Or are you on total relaxation with no contact with the outside world? Either way I will be thinking of you and hoping that you are having a wonderful time! :wave:
 
I had a blast yesterday- forgot about the old cars too! Got some great grill and shiny hubcap photos, brought back tired feet, full tummy and 2 cases of wine! Plus got to know these friends from dance better and already planning next years to be a two day experience- oh yeah. I will have to post photos or make layouts soon. Today- must work on houseclean up and work work- truly - no more maybes
 
Good Morning girlies!!! Hope everyone had a great day yesterday and another one today to top off the weekend!!

I actually slept in a little this morning!! I was taking some sinus/allergy medicine for about a week that made me more wide awake than normal, and I stopped taking it on Wed..and I crashed on Thursday and every night since I have slept long and hard!! The phone woke me this morning!!

Gonna fix some breakfast and then get ready to leave...YAY...

Trudy...YAY for that sunshine...FINALLY!! I thought we might have to send you a boat before long!! I will have my laptop...so I will pop in...just won't be staying long....Now when I go to the beach in August...I will have my laptop, but seriously doubt I turn it on!!

Laurie...sounds like a wonderful time yesterday!!! Wow...score on all the wine!!!! and YAY for making new friends..well better friends!!! don't work too hard today...try to scrap us a page or two!!!
 
Yesterday was wedding day!! It was an amazingly gorgeous wedding. It started off a bit stressful. I was late because my hairstylist was late so my hair got started late and I didn't love it but my mom and sister did so it was fine. I loved Addie's hair though. She looked amazing and definitely looked like a princess. I decided that she would get no sugar although she did end up with a couple pf lollipops we did pretty good until the wedding. Her and Ethan looked so sweet walking down the aisle together. At the end of the aisle she stopped and got confused and didn't know what to do but got to the right place. She did awesome up there and didn't fuss or anything. She would stand up and sit down a few times but did great. They ended up tying the rings onto Ethan's shoes instead of the pillows, which was great. the wedding was gorgeous. The guestbook got tears from Niki (the bride) and they loved it. They got married and it was very them with a few personalized things thrown into the mix. The officiant made them put into their own words what all the "Love is..." things meant to them. Some were sweet and some were funny. It was great. Tomorrow they head off to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for their honeymoon. We gave them Dave Ramsey stuff for their wedding gift and I made Derek write the card for them so it wasn't just an annoying gift from me. It will probably still go to the back of their closet but hey, it is all good. I am just so happy for them. After the wedding at the reception Addie wanted to play and was afraid to mess up her dress. I told her to go play and get dirty. What is she going to do with that dress again. Then she played a little rough in it and the strings that gathered it started pulling and it started getting longer so we finally had her change her dress. I'll have to put pics up on FB tonight from the wedding. Oh, so get this...the best man and one of the groomsmen actually put a pic of Niki up on FB before the wedding. When I said something about it and hit them, they said well, the groom saw her so what's the big deal. They did an early reveal so that we could do pictures and everything. Then they had some excuse about not having wedding experience. I hit him again and called him an idiot.

Anyway...so, two more days to get ready for the movers. Ahhhhhhh!!! They come on Wednesday and tomorrow for a walk through. Holy moly!! It has come up so fast. I am just amazed by it all!! So they will come and then I can start doing other stuff. I am having other people clean my house which will make my life so much easier and less stressful. Then we can take pics and get it rented and I can get ready for VBS. I'm a station leader and am so excited to be able to do that this year.

Okay, I have done enough rambling today. I didn't plan on it but did anyway. I love you guys and have really missed you all. I have been trying to hop in here and read what's going on but haven't had time to respond. I always mean to come back but just don't get that far. So, know that I am thinking of you all and am missing you. I'll chat again soon.
