CreativeLive.com is showing Dave Cross's "advanced photoshop" class live today 5/30. It's worth a look-see to see if it's something you might want to purchase. I think it may have been recorded in late 2014, but he made an effort to focus on material that doesn't necessarily require Creative Cloud (yes!)
I have purchased a number of online classes from various sources and have generally been disappointed with the value, but I watched about half of yesterday's (1 of 2 days) session and it was actually worth the sale price of $59 (save $20). What I usually do with these things is to download the lectures and speed them up in my player, slowing down for things I actually need to see at normal speed. I estimate that I probably know about 80% of what he talked about when I watched, but the 20% I didn't know was golden, so I made the purchase.
The sale is good for about another 11 hours. I think they're probably having a site-wide Memorial Day sale.
