Thank you to those participating in my ATC challenges. Your participation gives me encouragement as I do enjoy hosting challenges. You are very welcome to send me a message with any ideas for future themes. Please share some ideas with me as I am sure to run out of them.
If you have never created an ATC - it is a small piece of artwork which can include a photo if you want. The size is 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches. It can be flat styled without shadows like in Art Journaling or it can have very deep shadowing of embellishments. There are no strict rules in the style of your artwork.
This month I am going to challenge you all if you want to take up the challenge, to write your own Haiku Poem which you will include on your ATC. The theme is open. I am not a hard task master so if you prefer not to write your own Haiku then you can search the internet to share one someone else has written.
Haiku are Japanese poems with 3 lines and 17 syllables, following a 5-7-5 syllable pattern. The first line has 5 syllables, the next 7 and the third line has 5.
They are often unrhymed and focus on nature and / or capturing a specific moment in time. Haiku typically aim to evoke emotion and suggest more than they explicitly state.
Here is one I found on the internet:

Our sponsor, Jenn of Joyful Heart Designs in the store HERE is very generously giving a $10 Coupon Code to her store each month for one randomly drawn winner. You will need to share your ATC in the gallery in your member gallery and here in this thread by the end of this month for the 1st of December random drawing of a winner. Jenn would not expect you to use her designs in your artwork. You are welcome to use any products by the designers in the Oscraps store.
Congratulations to the winner from last month which you will find HERE
Please share your artwork in the gallery in the "Member's Gallery" and you must follow the normal rules for the gallery:
All layouts uploaded to the Oscraps Gallery must contain at least 50% Oscraps products *that are currently in the store (a template equates to 15%) No offsite linking is allowed.
