Anyone Interested in a Ground Up Genealogy Tutorial?

I have some tutorials I have been reworking with screen shots on how to input items on my family tree program. They cover basics from the beginning of research to more advanced items - like how to post out of wedlock births with sensitivity, adoptions, same gender couples, etc. I use Legacy Family Tree but I would also be happy for those of you who use other programs to add those tutorials, too. Much of what I have is the same process regardless of program and is easily convertible.

Is anyone interested? Would it be of value to those who want to get started but don't know how? Let me know, please!

Susan, I've just begun to reconstruct a Heritage Album for my adult kids. I had made 3 paper Heritage albums (BIG ones0 10 years ago but they were lost in a storage room debacle. :sad2::crying1:. Thankfully at least half the info and most the photos I was able to copy from my Mom's album.

What I don't know how to do, have never done, is take advantage of our public library's geneaology's department. Do you, or anyone else know the steps for that? Online is fairly user friendly. Wondering about this other avenue...

Amanda, where do you live? What library is close to you with a genealogy department?

I would love to do a heritage album! I would be interested in your tutorials and use Legacy Family Tree also. Things like out of wedlock births, adoptions, and unmarried couples would be helpful to know how to do. I only have a few things in my tree and need to add more of what I know.

Wonderful. Remind me after the first of the year and I'll dust them off and update the photos. Those are some of the hard ones to know what to do, but family is family and deserve their place on the tree.
