Hey Everyone!
It’s Saturday……………yep, Saturday and time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes.
Each Saturday the AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Choose ONE idea from the page to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. There is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay. Be inspired and create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery. Upload your page by Friday 6.6.14 by NOON EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift ’ and one lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop. The winner will be posted each Friday here in the forum.
Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.
This week our AnnaLift has to do with travel and seeing new sights. The page chosen is “Beautiful”, and was created by “Scrappie Irene”, and it is indeed very beautiful. I love how each of the 4 lower photos use a different frame design, and the subtle brushwork and transfers she used throughout to enhance the page. I love the grungy masking of a large background photo as the centerpiece for this travel layout. It really pulls you in to take a closer look. Irene chose to use one of the many templates from an Album Pack that Anna currently has on sale, so you may want to make use one of her templates, or use some of Anna's many frames, and clipping masks to build your special page.
This week’s AnnaLift will inspire all of us in some way. Maybe you will choose:
-to play around with a variety of frames to showcase your photos
-to experiment with some wonderful clipping masks, or use some of the techniques found in Anna’s new AnnaBlendz No. 3 – Blending with Brushes
-to use the perfect WordART or title to enhance your page
-to add a bit of subtle texture
-to create a multi-photo layout to showcase those special photos
