Good morning, it’s bi-monthly Monday and time for a new AnnaChallenge. Thank you all for participating in our last challenge "Shoot Where You Stand". Congrats to Geraldine (aka Dady) for being the lucky winner of the $5 gift kard to Anna’s Shop

Do you have a dinner ritual? The type that recharges you?
Maybe you…
Gather with family or friends to share the day’s events
Light candles
Pray before the meal
Prepare the meal as a team
Watch television while you eat
Maintain a consistent seating arrangement
Eat at the same time every evening
Have a weekly menu…spaghetti every Wednesday
Eat leftovers on Thursdays
Eat Sunday dinner at the dining room table
Eat outside when the weather is nice
Or maybe you want to restore a dinner ritual you enjoyed in the past

in norway there is a traditional ritual: the familiy (or the guests) says after table to the mother (or the person who has prepared the meal) or the hostess: takk for mat (thanks for the meal).
even if we live in good times, live in abundance and have more food than truly necessary, i like this ritual as reverence for the efforts and work peparing a good tasting, varied and freshly cooked meal every day and so my husband and son say “takk for mat” after dinner.

grrr I get so cross when having typed all the details in the gallery I forget to put in the file so have to do it all again. the back button does not work with this
