I found a South-Korean movie on Netflix called "Secret zoo" (2020), and caught my attention a polar bear drinking a soda :rolleyes:, well I won't explain all the plot, but it was an unexpected kind of movie, fun, and in some scenes so unrealistic that it was ridiculous, but great to spend a nice weekend night.
I wonder if anyone else has watch it? if so, what do you think? did you like the movie?

I LOVE K-pop and Korean culture, as I am learning new things...well, I don't love all of the K-Pop culture and what the Idols have to go through...anyway, separate topic...:wardrobehide:

I Googled and it says this is available on Amazon Prime! YAY!! The first result was for it was Netflix, but we ditched Netflix I think about two years ago and have Hulu, Amazon Prime, Peacock, Disney+, and then of course I love my Tubi which is free with no ads at all :heartpumpred: I think the premise of this movie is hilarious and light hearted....looking forward to watching it, thank you!!! :heartpumplove: I see it is dubbed in English on Amazon Prime...I hope they have the original language to watch, as well...so many of the foreign movies are SO much better reading the English subtitles. Train to Busan (zombie horror) is one of them...it was SO much better without the bad acting English speaking peeps covering it...:floorlaugh:
 
Oh, this sounds like a fantastic movie. I've seen a couple of S Korean movies, and they're usually great. I hope this is available on Netflix here in Sweden as well.

I know what you mean, once I watch an tv series dubbed, and later I found the original with subtitles and I prefer the original one.

I totally agree with you, the few S. Korean movies that I've watched here are usually great, I loved Miss Granny and My tutor friend, and another that I can't remember the title right now, and of course the Secret zoo.
I hope you will find it, I'm sure you're gonna love it dear Eva.

OH my goodness....I just finished watching this movie while doing designing and previewing stuff...I really enjoyed it, and the english voice subs were better than other movies I have watched! I have to say, the polar bear...it is named "Black Nose"...that really hit me hard because that is what the kitten that showed up in our backyard when we lived in Tennessee was named that I watched get killled by two idiot dogs and she died in my arms. She was a stray, not from the main momma stray cat, Lily, that was outside and being fed, as well as her kittens. Black Nose showed up one day and tried to snuggle with Lily, and eventually Lily let her, after a while. Black Nose was the first cat that I had ever experienced trying to crawl UP my body. I was taking pics of the moon with an actual camera, and she crawled up my pajama pants and was mid chest when I looked away from the camera and down at her and said "hello!". It was only a day or two later that she was on all of our laps and giving so much love. I named her "Black Nose" because her nose was black, but after taking her to the vet, they discovered she was sick and prescribed meds. It ended up that she actually had a pink nose :beatingheart: We still called her Black Nose because that is what we were used to....not long after that, she was murdered by some neighbors' dogs that weren't properly fenced in, right in front of me, and died in my arms as I scared them away. I know I have talked about this before, and I apologize, her death still makes me cry...she would put her paw on my heart when I would sit in the rocking chair with her out front. My son was allergic to cats so we couldn't take her inside. I have never heard of another animal named "Black Nose", and it DID trigger me :bawling: I had to type out that experience again to get it out of my system or else I would be a mess....sorry to anyone reading through this. I of course am crying right now...grrrr...that stupid human who did a crappy job of the fencing. I DID confront him when I was driving down his street one day and let him know that he better fix the fence because his dogs killed my sweet cat. He was a foreign guy, he seemed a bit scared, the fence was patched and fixed a week later. If he had done THAT two weeks before, it would have saved Black Nose's life :gloomy:

I DID enjoy this movie a lot, and I went ahead and watched it on Tubi, as I linked in a post above...it is a GOOD movie :heartpumplove: Sorry for the emotional spill on here...I AM PMS'ing right now, so that doesn't help, and I think I am heading into peri-menopause, about to turn 50....these newer symtoms are not fun and really frustate me...being a woman really sucks, sometimes :voodoodoll:

Oh my I'm crying while reading your post, so sad :bawling: :crying1: I hug you in the distance :hug2:. I too had a bad experience with a cat that I had, and some dogs killed him :sad2: :bawling: his name was "The Blond", he was a sweet yellow orange cat, but he was the only one from his brothers in such color, the rest were black tortoiseshell cats, so we called "the Blond", he was around 8 months when some dogs caught him, my dad, follow them and succeed to hit one of the dogs with a piece of wood so our poor cat fell from the dog's snout to the ground, it was middle of the night, and we ran to the vet, we knocked so hard that the poor man finally opened the door, and he tried to do his best, 2 surgeries, and our cat survived 1 week but finally stopped to breath :bawling:, is one of the most sad things that have happened to me :sad2: , I would like to turn back time and don't allow that our kitties were out of the house neither one second, and actually from that moment we didn't let any of our cats go out of the house. When my dad once saw the dogs with his owner, I remember that he went and talked to the man, and the man was very confused, later, the same day, the same man, knocked to our door, and bring some bills, to cover the wasting of the vet, we didn't accepted, and my dad asked the man to leave our house, but he put some legal process against the man, because it was illegal to let dogs free, so at the end the judge put some punishment payment to that man. Of course that it didn't bring back to our cat, but I felt happy that those dogs won't be free around the neighborhood killing cats, or attacking humans.
No reason to say sorry, thanks for sharing the story of Black Nose, I didn't know her, but reading your post I can imagine her, and I'm glad to learn about her. As well it's good for people that own dogs to be more conscious and not letting them go out alone, not only for their own protection, but to protect others.

Oh goodness, I am SO sorry that you have been through a similar thing...it is HORRIFIC :bawling: And HUGE (((((HUGS))))) back to you, sweet Grace :hug1: It is so sad that after two surgeries your sweet Blond didn't make it :sad2: I think your Dad did the right thing to not be "paid off" and take matters into his own hands since it was illegal what that man was allowing his dogs to do. We have dogs running free around here still, and I am always worried about our two cats because they are indoor/outdoor...they are constantly begging to go outside because they are both strays that just showed up in our yard over the time we have lived here. I understand them wanting to be outside, but also inside....they have gotten into a few fights with other cats/animals over the past few years and I really wish that I could just have them ONLY inside. I don't want to lose one of them because of stuff like this :gloomy:

With Black Nose, it all happened very suddenly, and she actually TRUSTED dogs because at the time we had a medium sized dog named Daisy who would actually play with her when we Daisy outside. She was a kitten, probably around 8 or 9 months like your baby was, and had never met another dog before, only cats and humans. The day that it happened, Black Nose and Daisy were playing a game that I was shocked to see...Black Nose was outside (our son is allergic to cats so I couldn't have her inside) and Daisy was inside the house. Black Nose was running around the house going from the front door and then around to the back door, and Daisy was doing the same inside of the house...it was really wild to watch them play like that...they would spend time at each door window interacting. It was after about 15 minutes of them doing their game and then those two dogs showed up, and I think Black Nose went up to them because they were about the same size as Daisy was, and she probably thought they would be friendly :( I had noticed that Daisy was staying at the front door and looking out and upset and then I looked out and saw that one of those dogs had my girl in her mouth and was shaking her like a ragdoll and I ran out screaming at them and they dropped her at the curb of the street. Thankfully, she was still alive enough for me to pick her up and cradle her and tell her that I love her so much, and I DO think that she heard me and understood me and my love for her, and then she seized and then died in my arms :bawling: I would have hated for her to just die alone in the street being EATEN by those stupid dogs and carried off somewhere...she was able to die in the arms of someone who loved her SO much :sad2::brokenheart::sad1:
 
@joyfulheartdesigns what an horrific experience. I am so sorry you went through that. I know form personal exxperience that there are no bad dogs, just very bad owners and it makes me angry every time.

It was a traumatizing experience and you are right to come here and get it out. It definitely means that it is still hard to process and I don't think it would do good to shove it back in.

I can only say that I am glad she got to be loved as she was, by you all in her too short of a life.

Thank you so much, Nini :hug2::heartpumplove: Yeah, it was for sure traumatizing...I try not to think about it, but when I do I always still end up crying...it's just one of those things I don't think I will ever get over :brokenheart: I appreciate being able to get it all out...it's like a forum therapy session...:giggle4:

Madi, I live in Finland, and I used a VIP (hidden my IP address), and I have watched some movies in Tubi, and in some another sites that are restricted to some another EU countries, just an idea.

Grace, I had no idea you lived in Finland! Are you from there originally? I think it would be a beautiful place to visit! :heartpumpred:
