That was a mid-Spring Wednesday, sunny, then partly cloudy in the afternoon. A typical pattern for us in the foothills of the Rockies. So the lighting changed throughout the day. Remember the oranges and jelly we tried but had no takers, except squirrels and ants for the jelly.

I finally got around to taking some new profile photos! Thankfully the weather cooperated and I got some good lighting and was able to get a few decent shots.

One of the peaks was Sundance, and to the right of it, Chapin. There's no pullout, and we were always in a hurry at that point to see what was ahead in RMNP. On New Year's Day I finally had us stop on the road for a few seconds just before the entrance, to take in the view.
