A simple scene about an old fashioned Christmas

I wanted to create a scene with Santa's sleigh flying through the air with the moon in the background. The landscape below is completely covered with snow. There's only a young boy to witness the scene.

Kitties can be fun... but they can also be mischievous!

I dream of living in a beautiful old house & fixing it up like this for Christmas.

I loved Anita's page with the fairy house in the woods. That was my starting point, and this is the result. Thanks Anita for the inspiration!

The maidens of the town go to Mystic Lake in the evening to witness the mysterious flickers of fire return to the sun. (I haven't figured out if this is a daily occurrence? or if it happens on the equinox, or perhaps the solstice?)

Wouldn't it be fun to relax with these ladies on the terrace along the Mediterranean Coast, and eat fresh grapes?

The boy has found a nice spot along the rocks where he can throw a line in. You can see the houses nearby, and across the bay. He's even sharing one of his fish with his pelican friend! I wish I could spend the afternoon there with him!

A lovely stroll in the fall
