I agree about the difficulty of sketching like Degas but you did a fabulous job with this! I love your four-legged subject - great photo! - and how you managed Degas' mix of soft colors. This wasn't easy to do but you managed it so well.

Wow! Those feathers and the dancer are fabulous with the Degas painting. I love this.

The girls and the photos are delightful, Terri! I love seeing the progression going down the page and how you emphasized that with the cascading leaves. Altogether a lovely layout!

I was inspired by one of Degas' sketches, Dancer with Fan. I'm not Degas but did what I could with the filters inside PSE to "sketch" this photo of a statue in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Thanks for looking!

Hi Kay, What part of NM are you in? Hubby and I just got back from 2 weeks, mostly in Santa Fe, but we traveled from Albuquerque to Taos and down to Roswell (to visit the aliens). There was lots of wind and dust in ABQ but the rest of our weather was almost perfect -- excluding snow on Easter...

Ooh... I knew someone would ask that. It's actually colored leaves. I might have written down at one point, but I don't have it in front of me. I will try to upload a close up (if I can figure out how to do it, LOL).
