Here, the winter is so short, our flowers bloom, get cold, rebloom again. So even though it's winter, it will be spring soon and a garden filled with flowers.

Red roses in the garden that come out every season here and provide cheer year round.

Thanks! We're under tornado watch until 10 pm, so storms were on my mind!

On stormy days let there be light and rainbows.

Days of storms can turn into rainbows. Love storms and rainbows. I added lots of textures, foto blends, lights on dark days. I played with color on the countryside picture. I'm not really that great at "coloring" items that aren't already colored, so that was fun.

I love owls, love purple, love home--so for the new year, I'm still planting purple flowers and watching for the elusive owls who hoot to each other in the night. :)

I played with dodge and burn with Karen's tutorial and also with trying gradients, something I haven't been very good at!
