Jumping in because I'm a Mac girl ... I use Google Docs (and all the other Google apps) and the Kindle app on my iPad mini 6 with no problems at all — it's about 4-5 years old now. I don't use Hoopla, but that App is in the App store too. I didn't get the Mini 7 which was just released...
