TDY Wildwood Air Force Station Located on the Kenai Peninsula Wildwood Air Force Station was established in 1953 as the Wildwood Army Station. It served as a major communications post for the Army Security Agency, the Naval Security Group, the Marine Corps Intelligence, and the USAFSS.
