Too bad you can’t check. That box is deselected by default but once you check it stays checked, so you probably wouldn’t remember having to do that the first time -x it’s something that always confuses people. The videos I saw were on Macs and they all were able to go back and resize. Too bad...

Evelyn, I've been researching this since I saw your post. From what I can, the Transform handles are still there and you can manipulate an element just like you could before. Are you sure the the "show bounding box" was checked in the Tools Options Bar? And did you try the Transform command—...
