Sara - yep, you can get Lightroom at a great price with your educator discount.

My 2 cents ... I'd go with Lightroom instead. :) The amount of amazing presets you can get for it are just flippin' cool. And, you can get a ton of great free ones. I use Lightroom on all of my photos now.
