I can relate to being close to the puppy. Remi is turning a year old in a few more days and she still needs a lot of supervision and being an aussie, she likes to be close to me, most of the time in the same room.

Yes, I totally get that. It is nice to be in the family room together and it's worth it for me to sacrifice some speed and convenience to get to be in the same room as the family. I'll be doing that in about half an hour :)

My most efficient scrapping is done on my PC with dual monitors but for convenience, it is nice to scrap on my small laptop with dual monitors in the living room. It isn't as fast or as big as my office setup but it is nice to sit with the family, watching TV together. But I think I'll enjoy it...

Enjoy it! I have 2 monitors on my main PC for scrapping in my home office. But a few months ago I got another monitor to have dual monitors for my laptop in the living room so now I can scrap up there too. You get spoilt with having 2 and, at least for me, I just can't scrap on one monitor alone...
