Oh, Trudy, thanks for recognizing my piece on Cleveland's "The Thinker." It happened so long ago that I'm sure few know or remember. Hope the page isn't too depressing. In some ways it's a sign we can and do endure.
Just a quick message from a place where the snow finally found us. About shingles: getting over them in a week sounds like a miracle. The people I've seen with them suffered immensely and for a long time. The sores are not the main problem, it is the nerve damage and pain.
