I had kids, like Miki, who would migrate from their beds to the Christmas Tree sometime in the night. Luckily this always happened AFTER Santa had come! The juxtaposition of sleeping Oz and the glittering tree is truly magical here.
It rained and rained and rained and rained and then there was fog, fog, fog, so I don't really have a sense of capital G Glacier, only small g glacier. We did get the woodsy aroma vibes though...very intensely thanks to all that moisture. I would love to go back. This is beautiful...and inspiring.
Wonderful pictures and yes, that is nature's way. We host a lot of fledglings at our bird feeders, and while it's comical to watch them get their feeding mojo, it's also apparent that bird life is not warm and fuzzy.
