Love this, especially the watery foliage and pink and yellow together in such tiny amounts. For us its smoke from fires a thousand miles away. I've been enjoying my own sunshine too.
I love love love an orange garden and how you used the orange gradient. Monarchs are rare here but I love learning more about our milkweeds. The most beautiful milkweed of all, I think, might be Showy Milkweed. I'd recommend it if you can find it locally?
:D Exquisite never crossed our minds, but I'll try to remember it for future very dark and bumpy times. We'll laugh and laugh and think of you, Laura. Watch out for that tree!
Love this. Love the process that creates cairns, the spirit. I do it sometimes and feel so connected and in that moment like time takes on a completely different meaning for me.
The lake is a mile away and the lens is totally racked out and picking up the haze from wildfires hundreds of miles away. Not as romantic when you realize that's the source of the artsy effect, but sometimes thermal conditions can -maybe- be similar.
Love. The best reflections and colors on a bug I think I've ever seen. I'm swooning. A wonderful card design and I'm putting that sheet of Ukiyo paper at the top of my stack for soon art.
Wonderful photos and even better news! Utah? (I'm just guessing.) A lot closer for us than Austin and I hope you get to go on some amazing adventures with him. You'll love it as soon as you learn to pee like a Jeep girl. Can you see I have big dreams for you after your long wait for this.
The potholes were epic and there were fallen trees in the road, so top speed was 5 mph or less. My bridge was a culvert under the Jeep road. I loved it because views were beautiful from both sides of the road. There was fog on Clear Creek and the sunrise was subdued as it came through light clouds.
