It's another windy day with no particular plans. Last night I made another loaf of the bread and Felis liked seeing the photos in day 4 of Joanne's challenge. (But you sure don't need a loaf pan as you know.)
Felis, it has been fun doing that challenge and sharing in the event. So nice you...
Maybe food isn't my only focus now, but sometimes it seems that way. Planning, shopping, cooking, eating, worrying about things lasting long enough and having the right things to go together, etc.

I guess I'm not really dealing with the isolation too well, definitely eating too much. But it's sunny and daffodils look so nice. Tuesday we did the shopping and it was hectic, long lines at grocery with distancing and not many cashiers open, most people wearing masks now though it is not...
It turned out I didn't go anywhere in 2019 making a day-long genealogy seminar in a nearby city my big trip of the year. It was a good program and the library where it was held has a fantastic sculpture outside the auditorium.

Kept meaning to scrap these photos from December. Usually when a Hairy Woodpecker is out there I can't get a decent photo, but these aren't too bad.

Since we've been retired a long time, we don't find this as different from normal as you probably do. We keep a physical calendar in the kitchen that tells us when things are scheduled (now all cancelled unless online). DH had H&S on Monday and I did bills then and meetings were on certain days...
DH is watching the daily session with our governor and after we are going to the grocery store. Not looking forward to that, but we haven't come to grips with trying to get delivery yet (supposedly scheduling 7 days out) and need things. Will be our first time out wearing masks. Last night I...
We really do like my chili and it tops our list of comfort food.

Wonderfully sunny again today. There was frost on the rooftops this morning but the sun took care of that and it has warmed up. Saturday night we finished the current puzzle. We really like it tons but it wasn't easy. Fun fact is that while working on it we watched a program (from YouTube) on...
It isn't always easy now to live like it's spring, but this is a little encouragement.

Yesterday I spent time trying to put together a little video in which I talk about my artwork, specifically the piece called "Black Horse" that is in the local arts group's members' exhibit. The piece was chosen by a poet in the group as part of a program where poets will talk or write, I guess...
The orchid my DH got me last February bloomed again this year and after a bit made four more buds that are now also blooming. It is a champ of a flower.
